Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Being an Android device there are several reasons why this may be happening. The first thing I'd need to know is what application you're using to receive the emails. If the application is native Android (built in) you may need to go to the device Settings > Manage Applications and clear the caches of your data services then reboot the phone. If the application is from a third party developer (from the Market) then you'll have to contact the developer regarding this issue.
The Push feature may be malfunctioning or outdated also. Try a battery pull, wait 2 - 5 clocked minutes, then reboot the phone after reinstalling the battery. If you're still having trouble or the problem comes back then you should visit the Verizon website and check for manual updates to the device. In a lot of cases an awesome phone may be poorly released by a service provider due to its "bloatware," limited services, lack of understanding of the device, locking capabilities of the phone, or any combination of the above.
You may need to contact Verizon about this to make sure it isn't a fault with them. If they can't help you resolve the issue then contacting Samsung may be necessary is they have the best understanding of their device. Don't be discouraged if they request you send the device back for repair, this process is usually completely free to you though inconveniencing.
Try to be patient, however, as Verizon should be receiving/building fixes in future updates. Be vocal about the issue so that it is addressed as a priority and your next update should resolve the issue if anything I've mentioned thus far fails. I'm an Android customer and I've had problems like this with my Moment only to have them quickly resolved before taking further action. Hope this helps.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
