If you are using Internet Explorer, click on the tools icon, then select internet Options. The first section is to set your home page, just type in what ever site you want to come up everytime you open the browser.

Why does Yahoo not show up as my home page when I sign in to the Internet?

There are two likely reasons. First, you don't have Yahoo set up as your home page. All browsers have a place where you can tell it what to use as your home page. In Firefox, pick Tools from the menu bar, then Options, and pick the General tab. There's a box where you can enter your home page. If you use Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then Internet Options, and then the General tab. If you're using another browser (Google Chrome, Safari), the Help information will tell you how to set your home page.

The second possibility is that some malware application has changed (hijacked) your home page. If your home page used to be Yahoo, and now it's not and you didn't change it, this is probably why. You can download MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware and scan your computer. If something has infected your computer, this is a good program to find and eliminate it.

Updated Internet Explorer to 7 and it won't let me save my settings on the setup page.

Once you travel thru the 4 (I think) screens of settings, it should automatically save the settings and no longer return here. If you want to skip all of that, just change your home page to something else.
