Question about Samsung LN52B750 52 in. LCD TV

1 Answer

I have a Samsung LN52B750 that has a few Black and White lines on the right side of the screen going to the middle of the TV. I have the latest firmware update and have reset the TV and neither helped. It looks to be an LCD problem.

Delete software upgrade

If you've a latest software than the TV has now installed, you can do it by an upgrade with that software. As the process goes on, the older version will be deleted. You cannot delete the software by any way. If you wish to get more details, surf the following link. There are over two thousand and four hundred posts. All are related to television and other domestic electronic equipment service help. You can get a solution there. Type in the brand name to your device to its search box, can be located at the top right of the display window. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Samsung 42" Plasma -Black vertical line when turned on.

It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried. Even on a good day, this is not something you can attack at home. As a tech (and as an owner of that model samsung), I'd need a map & tools to know what's going on. Your best bet in this situation is to contact Samsung and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area. Sorry I can't be of more help, but this is a rather serious problem.

Vertical lines across my entire screen

My 42" Samsung Plasma HDTV HP-R4252 has a 2" vertical strip of green pixels down the right side of the screen.

My 3 year warranty with Circuit City expires in Nov 2008.. so I hope I'm covered.. can't call until the morning.

Samsung said it might be a logic board problem.. but they want almost $2000 to fix. I might as well buy another TV if Circuit City can't fix it.
