Question about Sony Handycam DCR-TRV110 Camcorder

usually if a tape will NOT eject, it is the open/close motor, the drive to the motor or the Micro, that drives the driver, so to speak. Sometimes it is a device called a "Mode Switch" if so this need to be replaced.
However working on a camera such as this is extremely difficult, due to the sophisticated electro-mechanical workings... often special tools are required to even take the unit apart.. but with that all said, if you have the right tools, the service manual, time &patience, and maybe a little luck, then there is no reason you shouldn't prevail.
