Have t"tricked" into restarting before by cutting power and letting it 'rest" for a few minutes then restored all power and it started to work. Today, it did not work. solutions? Even the repair people from Kitchen Aid do not know how to work on this oven.

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid Oven and Carbon Monoxide Leak

If you have Propane than any range will have to be properly converted to propane they are made for natural gas. Other than that gas ovens do emit quite a large amount of CO and new homes are built very air tight and any good CO detector may sense this. If you have a vent hood or hood/mwave combo and its vent is actually ran to the exterior it should aid in venting that CO. This is why the new dual fuel (gas cooktop, elec oven) are so popular. Hope this helps...

We've seen similar problems due to an intermittent failure in the control board. If you can have it removed we can likely repair it for you.

Oven temperature is off by 25 degrees

Unplug the power and wait 15 minutes. Plug it in and retest to see if temp comes back to normal. + or - 5 degrees is normal. If still same problem than you will need to re[lace the controller board.

Kitchenaid gas over will not come up to

Hello,

To answer your question, in a word...Yes.

Quite often when the ignitor is faulty or on it`s way out, it manifest in not igniting the burner consistently, or at all.

If you`re still not sure though, If you could provide a model number and I`ll try to assist you further. The post is labeled as a ``dual fuel range`` which would lead one to believe the range has gas surface burners, combined with an electric oven. That is typically the industry meaning of a dual fuel range.

Hope that help`s and if so please take a second to rate this solution provided for you here at fixya.

Thank you and good luck.

I'm looking at a KitchenAide KDDT207B duel-fuel used stove to purchase used from a private party I don't know. Are there reliability concerns?

I have this same oven. It began to intermittently fail when using the oven. The error code suggested it was a problem with the keypad. I suspected it was because the electronics was overheating. The electronics for this model is approximately underneath the right front gas top range. What I found was that the failure occured when both the oven and the right front gas range were being used simultaneously. This caused overheating since the electronics has not fan in this model and the heat radiating down from the pan above the gas range is added to the heat coming from the oven below. The electronics is sandwiched between these two heat sources.

Dual fuel kitchenaid; burners work, oven does not

I had a similar problem. There's a thermostat before the control panel. You need to remove the knobs and the front panel to get to it. You'll also need to remove a couple of trim pieces to keep from bending the panel. The part number is Whirlpool W10017820, sells for about $40.
