Question about Computers & Internet
I have had my computer for just over 6 months and already I have had to talk to the gateway people about it twice. It started out that I wasn't able to run it for more than a hour then it would shut off on me and go to a blue screen. Now I can't even turn it on. It makes a really weird clicking sound like it wants to but it just doesn't have enough juice. It is again starting to shut off in the middle of things again even when it is plugged in.
These are only a few things that are going on with my computer.
Most clicking sound are made by failing harddrive... check with gateway people again if it is still under warranty and ask them to replace the drive or fix it.
fyi -- if it is really the hard drive that is making the clicking noise... there is a big chance that you will loose your data
