SOURCE: low pressure reading on Pool Heater

I had this problem with ours last year. I replaced the water pressure switch and it began working fine. We later had a symptom that the blower would start but it would not ignite. The ignitor rod was corroded so I took it out and sanded it with some sandpaper---worked fine...until I dropped it trying to reinstall and it broke. Bought a new one and it works fine now.

Today's problem is related to the blower now.... it is always something, isn't it?!?

Re program your assorted timer functions and make sure you set AM and PM or use a 24 hour clock. I think your model allows for a 24 hour clock setting but I am not certain.

I hope this helps you

I CAN´T START A JANDY

This is the code for ignition lock-out.
This lock out typically happens when one of three things happens. I will start with the most common problems.

1. The HSI (hot surface ignitor) has gone bad. (this is easy to fix once you have the part. Part number is : R0457500

2. Flame sensor (rectifier) has gone bad or curroded and flame is not being sensed. This is also an easy part to repair. Part number : R0458600

3. Gas valve has gotten sticky or gone bad (this is not likely) . If this is the case, I recommend a professional replace the gas valve.

Open the cabinet so you have a good view of the ignitor. turn the power off, wait 30 seconds, then power back on.
After about 45 seconds the heater will send power to the HSI and it should glow bright orange/red.
If this i snot happening, its probably a bad ignitor.
If the ignitor glows, and the flame ignites, but goes out immediately, this would indicate a bad flame sensor. If you need help locating these parts in the heater, refer to the original manual.

All parts are available on-line.
Or you can e-mail me @ adamh@newconceptchem.com to see if i have them in stock.
