Make sure nothing is blocking the latch or the door.

Everything appears to have power and lights flash but the cycle with water does not start?

Make sure the child-lock or control-lock function is not turned on. The other likely possibility is that the door latch is not closing properly, or that the door switches that are part of the latch are not getting engaged. So if the dishwasher thinks the door is open, it will not start.

Normal wash lite flashing

Hi, try pushing Normal Wash - Heated Dry - Normal Wash - Heated Dry. This should enter the diagnostics cycle and reset any faults. If it will not reset or enter the diagnostics cycle then the door latch assembly must not be engaging when you close it. You will need to check the door latch to make sure that the switches are engaging. If they are not, you will need to replace the door latch switch assembly.

try pressing stop or cancel button for 10 full seconds. If this does not work, unplug the machine for 10 minutes. While unpluged, press and hold cancel or stop but for 10 seconds, then plug machine back in. If it still does not work, test the door switch with an ohmmeter to make sure the door switch is not faulty.

The door will not close. It appears that the lock is in the closed position and will not allow the catch to close fully and engage. The m/c is mid cycle so I have switched off at the main socket

Check for obstructions, Check the door latch the latch may have moved into its housing, use a screw and position the door latch properly free from any obstruction, then try closing the door again..if not then you may need to replace the door.hope this helps pls do let meknow

DU943PWKSO DISHWASHER STOPPED WORKING, ELECTRICAL CURRENT TO PANEL...THE LOCK LIGHT COMES ON WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED AND LATCHED, BUT THE WASHER WON'T START WHEN ANY OF THE BUTTONS ARE PUSHED...THE LOCKED...

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. This issue can be either due to a faulty door latch or door lock switch which is not engaging itself. And, if the door latch will not engage the dishwasher will sense it as open door and will not start the cycle. And the sound might be coming from the door lock solenoid (a hum/buzz sound).

The light also blinks when the dishwasher detects a no-fill condition. You’ll need to get access to the fill valve by removing left panel, look at back to see where valve is when you get to it remove one of the wires and set meter to ohms setting and put a lead on each tag on valve. The reading you should be about 3.6k ohm if you don’t get a reading then the valve is at fault. I'll also suggest you to check the detergent dispenser solenoid for this issue. Remove the door panel and see if there is a round item at the dispenser assembly with two wires attached to it. Put the dishwasher into a cycle and when the noise appears, gently press on the solenoid to see if that is where the noise is coming from.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Dishwasher stops during cycle and full of dirty water

you are having a problem with your door latch.the unit may not be staying closed or the latch strike is not in position to engage the door switches.
check the metal bracket just where the door closes and try to bend it downward , closer to the door and see if this helps to keep it working.

''Clean'' light is blinking, ''Cancel'' does not reset the cycle.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses, then repeats...

When the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it stops working and locks the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive). It does this as a safety in case the element is broken and feeding electrical current into the water.

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring).
It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

Good luck!

Well into the wash cycle, the START/RESUME light begins blinking. When I push the button, the entire cycle starts over again. Not exactly saving me any water ETC. Help?

Are you sure the cycle is starting from the beginning? It sounds like the latch strike is not engaging the door switch enough. Try gently bending the latch downward but not too far so it doesn't hit the door when you close it. If that doesn't work it could be the door switch , the console assembly or the electronic control.
Good luck!
