SOURCE: generation 2 worldwide toddler bed lost all hardware (screws, etc

You should not attempt to buy hardware to reassemble the crib. Gen 2 has had recall problems with their products. One of the ways a recall is performed is to have the customer send the hardware to the company instead of the whole assembly, rendering it useless. If you received one without hardware, it was probably recalled.

Trying to convert from crib to toddler bed but have no instructions. Can you advise?

I have recently done this for my grandchildrens cots. In my case the cots are wooden. We removed the vertically sliding 'gate' along with all sliding components (all screwed out easily), cut the gate down to about half the length and screwed it permanently to the head and outer side of the bed frame. I also added a bracket underneath at the 'exposed' end so the new bed safety rail is more rigid (formed by the gate now being on the floor with the top about 300mm [12"] above the mattress) This gives safety from the young child falling out and they can still easily get into and out of the bed by climbing up/down at the foot end. I will happily send you a digital image if you send me an email to onehump@hotmail.com (put MODIFY COT in subject line in case it goes to junk mail).
So now we have training beds - but these will not last long as the little people grow so quickly.

Mamas and Papas Murano cot bed problem

fully dismatle the cot, keep all the bits.. Take the two slatted sides to bits and put the base pieces of wood from these to one side.
pull the headboard and footboard (is that whats its called) apart take the feet from the footboard and add to the headboard (they are now the sole head and foot boards) screw the 4 nuts with blanking plates to the top 4 holes on the new head and footboards
take the two long slatted size bases and screw them to the lower holes on the head and footboard put the base brackets (L shapped screws) into the corners put the cot base onto the L shaped screws done
