Hello, make sure you install all your drivers...it sounds as if you haven't got the network device driver (lan) loaded..

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Wifi internet connected, internet explorer will not load web page

Get a new internet browser, download Firefox from here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2031.0.exe

Then make sure your computer time clock is correct, you can adjust the time and date by right clicking on the clock and then read the rest.

If that doesn't work you need to check your wifi router, you might need to unplug it for 1 minute then plug it back in.

If that doesn't work you need to check your Proxy settings in Internet Explorer. Do this by opening IE, then go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > Uncheck all boxes then click Apply/Ok and exit IE and try again.

Just use Firefox, it is much better than IE, for many reasons.

Have you tried using another browser?
Did you clear all the history and restart, and did try again?

With google chrome i cannot connect to the internet

If the problem isnt with your fire wall try this. After a little poking around I found that IE and Chrome both use the same type of means to access the internet so, this is what worked for me.

Open IE and on the menu: Tools -> Internet Options
Hit the Connections tab, then hit the LAN Settings button and UNCHECK
"Use a proxy server for your LAN", then OK both windows.
refresh the browser and both Chrome & IE should work.

Neither Internet Explorer or Firefox will connect to internet. Firefox say it cant connect to proxy server. How do I check proxy settings?

Open your Internet Explorer,
Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections "Tab" -> LAN Settings -> Proxy server, uncheck the box -> OK

Restart your Browsers ie IE or Firefox, you don't need the proxy server if your are a home users.

Hope it helps.

Wifi is connected but i am not able to connect to any site

Assuming your ISP does not require a proxy, from the IE browser, go to the tools menu. Pick "Internet Options." On the internet options, click the "Connections" tab. At the bottom, click the "LAN settings" button. On LAN settings window, check the top box (Detect automatically). Uncheck any other boxes. Click OK. Then see if it will connect.

Internet is clearly working but both internet explorer and google chrome are not loading pages. Google chrome gives me a message saying Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error.

are you sure net is working ?
do this
go to Start / Run / type in white box
ping www.google.com -t

do you get the response in the form of some digits with TTL=56, TTL=54 etc
if so network is OK
your browser settings /firewall settings are not correct....check and adjust
go to Tools menu in IE/internet options/Connections Tab/Set UP/Next/Chose Connect to the Internet/Setup my connection manually/chose settings as per your choice given to you by the service provider/Finish

Retry

J CAN'T OBTAIN ANY INFORMATIONS ABOUT ANY ALBUM IN WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 11

The first step would be to go to Internet Explorer and make sure that under the File menu, that 'Work Offline' is not ticked.WMP and IE share the internet settings, so that could be the issue.Another thing you can try in IE is to run the internet connection wizard : it often resets the internet connection settings correctly for IE and WMP. On IE menu, that's under Tools -> Internet Options ->
Connections -> Setup button.

Hi Suz du - try this - on your IE - click on tools>internet options>connections. Make sure that there's nothing in the dial-up box. If there is, remove it. Then click on Lan settings snd make sure automatically detect settings is clicked. Then click ok. Close IE and re-open and try it.

Internet Explorer cannot display the web page

I've been having the same problem after I change my Aztech router to D-Link. I hope these can help you because my problem solved after doing it.

Go to Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings and make sure you check the 'Automatically detect settings' option box and the other two boxes is left unchecked. Good luck!!!
