I've never had a problem with the player before, but I am not able to delete the remaining songs from the player. When I plug the player into the usb port the computer starts to hang, my only recourse is to unplug the player. I tried this on 3 different computers. After disconnecting it from one computer the computer would not boot up again. (that problem was resolved with the xp disk)
When i tried deleting from the player itself, had the following message display 'error deleting'.

My Sister has one of these and it had a file system error, I reformatted it first with fat32 and it would just hang at the startup screen. Then I tried fat16 and it works now, hope that helps.

here is a fix if your creative zen nano plus just hang on the creative logo when you turn your player on.
download, Creative ZEN Nano Plus firmware.
you can find it at the creative website, download section.
double click the file you just dl'ed, now make sure your
zen nano player is already connected to your pc when you run the file. it may take a bit of time before your pc can detect your zen nano be patient, a window prompt will soon appear asking if you want to update your firmware with the one youve just dl'ed.
now, dont worry if the firmware is the same as the one already
installed in your zen nano, just continue with the update.
you can also check the box in which there is the option of also formatting the drive. ( note: all files in your zen nano will be lost)
after the firmware is flashed you can now play and transfer files to your zen nano plus.
