I looked it up on the Internet at the above address, but it says the manual is coming soon.
I didn't see any support information beyond the specifications.

You may have to go a round about way of getting the mpeg4 or mp4 or av1 files to play.

One may have to get the video files to the computer, by using a USB cord, then transfer them to the sd card through a computer that has the sd card interface. Then, try to use these standardized files in the sd card on the lanzar sdn71bt.

Or, I would transfer the files that are known to play on your computer to a DVD.

That's what I would try.

That's a nice unit, theoretically, for under $500, yet.

Hope you can fix the problem.

Good luck.

There has to be something wrong with the firmware. This unit should play DVD/VCD/CD/MP3/MP4/CD-R/USB/SD-MMC. Maybe it is the SD card that you have that is not supported.

You can use Pavtube HD Video converter for mac to transcode MP4 video to Apple InterMediate Codec (AIC) for iMovie editing, this method you don't need to render.

Cant play videos

It seems that your MP3 player can support mpeg4 video, but you should control your video resolution to 320*240, maybe you can to use Leawo free mp4 converter.

You can free download it here: http://www.leawo.com/video-converter/free-mp4converter.html

Not play mp4 formated songs

If there's no database or firmware problem, it should play mp4 audio streaming files, but remember, it doesn't support "Mp4" video files. It supports only ."3gp" video files and "mpeg4.rm".
If you have installed or if you use application like smart movie, then definitely it would support other formats too. But unless you install additional codec, it'll never be able to play other files except 3gp and mpeg4.rm.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I put my sd card into my pc and it comes up but i can not get my video to play on my media player.....how can i get it to play

Windows media player does not support all type of files to play. You can try to play those video in VLC player or follow the link & download the software then start set up. restart your system and play the video in Windows Media player.

http://ftp.freenet.de/pub/filepilot/windows/multim.../klcodec375f.exe
This is working like an engine. After install the software your Media player updated with some other time files. For exam: mp4,mpeg4,avi,mov etc type file can play via media player.
Waiting for your feed back.

Can't play mp4?

You could try a piece of software called mp4cam2avi. It turns a .mp4 file into an xvid/divx .avi file, without actually needing to recode the data, so the quality is just the same!

My sanyo nvm 4370 video option say no video player installed

This unit only supports MPEG4/H.264 file. The files format has to be .MP4. This unit cannot play all MPEG4/H.264 movie files. Most movies out there are converted using DivX or XviD codec so if you need to convert them to this supported format. It will mostly cost you time if you found a free converter.

If you don't have time. You might try my basic hack to add a 3rd party media player that will play almost everything out there and it also supports sub-titles. You can check out my video on YT @ http://www.youtube.com/KhaKev.

All I have to offer you is to verify the mpeg4 format using GSpot software which can be found here: http://gspot.en.softonic.com/ Also, the max supported SD Card size for your unit is 2GB. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
