Hi,
Here is a tip that I wrote on moving refrigerators...if you did not do it thisway then you may well have ruined a perfectly good refrigerator.

Moving a Refrigerator What is the best way

If you already have moved it wrong, you can sometimes get it working byplugging it in and unplugging it a number of times with an hour or so inbetween.

sounds like you could be low on charge,If you set you thermostat @ 78 degrees it should stay within 2 degrees of that and not have more then a 6-8 min cycle every 20 min.

Heating problem

I've had that problem with a customers car before, but I changed the water pump, and it seemed to fix it. A lot of times the water pump, can't pump fast enough when it's at idle. Try it.

Refrigerator compartment cools correctly for a few days then no longer receives cold air from freezer. The freezer continues to operate and gets much colder than it should.

does your fan blow? freezers have a fan that pushes cold air to the fridge side if fan is bad freezer will run extremely cold and fridge won't cool down and since frige won't cool down thermostat in fridge doesn't tell compressor to stop

Unplug the Ref for 15-20 min., plug it back in and listen for the compressor to start. You will need to be behind the Ref so you can tell if the compressor or the fan is running. It will help to take the cover off so you can see the compressor.
Compressor not running but you hear a clicking noise. The relay needs to be replaced.
Compressor runs but not cooling. Low on coolant

How can I tell if my fridge isn't working?

Unplug the Ref for 15-20 min. take off the cover so you can see the compressor, then plug it back in and listen for the compressor to start. You should be behind the Ref so you can tell the difference between the fan running or the compressor.

The compressor should start and keep running.

The fan cooling the compressor should be running.

The fan in the freezer should be running.

You should feel cold air coming into the Fridge side from the freezer side.

Hi, I have a whirlpool side by side refrigerator that will not cool. The light comes on and the fan blows but it will not cool. I tested the compressor relay and it looks to be good. Both the refrigerator...

Unplug the Ref for 15-20 min, plug it back in and listen for the compressor to start running. You will have to be behind the Ref so you can tell if it's the condensor fan or the compressor running.

Not running, replace the relay. $20-25 you can get a universal start relay and if that won't get it started then the compressor is bad.

Also, another compressor check is with an OHM meter, check for a dead short, touch one lead to ground and the other to each of the three post on the compressor. Any reading on the meter indicates a short in the compressor motor.

Running but not cooling. Take the back wall off in the freezer so you can see the evaporator coils. They should have a light coat of frost over all the coils. No frost or partical covering means it's low on coolant.

Running fine but blowing warm air

"it seems to work fine but will not get cold"
Not sure how it can work fine and is not cold. When you say work fine, is the light on and the freezer fan blowing but is the compressor running?

Unplug the Ref and wait about 30 min or so, plug it back in and listen for the compressor to start running. You should be behind the Ref to hear this. If you don't hear it start running then you may hear a clicking noise. This clicking is a problen with the compressor start relay. If the compressor runs but still is not cold then it could be low on coolant.

Admiral LTF2112ARW cooling problems

First I would make sure the compressor is running.

Unplug the Ref. for about 15-20 min, plug it back in and listen for the compressor to start. You will have to be behind the Ref to tell the difference between the compressor fan and the compressor. If the compressor clicks and doesn't run then the relay on the compressor should be replaced. If it runs then it is probably low on coolant.
