I have a Kenmore Coldspot model 106. - the flap on the icemaker is loose - won't dispense. I was cleaning it and apparently knocked something out. It is a round rubber piece - approx. the size of a dime with a plastic arm attached that swings. It's logical to me that the way the arm swings and the looseness of the flap - that it has fallen off something and that's the problem. I worked for an hour trying to re-attach it, but no go. Is this something that can be done if you know where to attach it (and please tell me where!) or is a technician going to have to open it up to fix it?

Kenmore coldspot model 106 9445781 the icemaker motor makes loud noise. Sounds like its under a heavy load.

Suggest you take the ice maker out and defrost it. You propably have ice crystal buildup and causing it to labor harder.

I have a leak inside my Kenmore Coldspot Model # 106 72104100. It is not coming from the icemaker.

If the water filter is old the seals will leak into the evaporative tray overflowing it. Replace the filter or give it a turn to bypass.

Kenmore Coldspot Ice Maker Modle #106 56622500 I

these have to be in correctly to lock back in and allow the unit to function. Try removing the bin again and be sure there isn't any small pieces of ice trapped anywhere. Also make sure there aren't any broken pieces from the bin. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Slow filter water stream and hollow ice.

You have a mesh screen in the water supply line where it connects to the water inlet valve. It can be stopped up with sediment.
