you can fix it,unplug the unit,then remove lower rear cardboard on back side of unit,unplug the ptc overload/relay on the left side of the compressor,disconnect the wires from it,get an exact replacement and reverse disassembly procedure

Magic Chef electric Dryer won't start


Do you have power going to the receptacle. You can first go to your house panel and look for the circuit breaker for the dryer (usually a 30 amp 2-pole brkr.). It could be tripped. So first, put your dryer in the off position. Next, go back to your circuit breaker in your house panel. Turn off the breaker, and then turn it back on. This should reset the circuit breaker for the dryer. Then go back and try turning on your dryer. If this doesn't work, feel free to contact me again. However, this would seem to be it. The ignitor is not working right and is going bad....
have the repair man replace the ignitor, or DIY....

Magic Chef refrigerator stop cooling


check the fan relay and the compressor to make sure it is still working...if not there is a capasiter you can replace to get it to work again

Dryer quit working


I have a Magic Chef Clothes dryer. Model #YE224LV. Was drying clothes, went back to ckeck and dryer wasn't running. Push botton and nothing. Check circuit breaker everything ok. What do I need to check and how. Just won't start.
