The screen is a component that cannot be replaced - the entire player will have to be replaced. All the manufacturers work this way, and there is no repair service for such a thing.

Help iam 10 my ipod touch screen craked and what do i do???

You're going to have to tell your parents, but there is good news.....The ipod is not junk just because the glass cracked.
There are a great many resources on the internet for your parents to buy a replacement digitizer (the glass on the face, or an LCD screen and replace them. If they are not handy with delicate projects there are services to do the repair, BUT you can find the digitizers for less than twenty dollars each and screens for about the same. There are even youtube videos that take them through it step by step.

So the good news is that these things are pretty tough except for the screen (A good case can do a lot to prevent the same thing happening again) so you can be back in business for around forty dollars and a little delicate work on the internals.

I left my phone in my pocket out in the hot wheather and i guess it got to hot and the screen craked now i only hv a very small space to use it by the craked part works fine but its black and u cant see...

i dont fullly understand what problem you have with your phone but i have had a problem sililer to this and it isn't easy to find any1 who would repair this 'cheap' but you could save quite a bit of money by buying a replacment screen for this phone off ebay
- (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LCD-SCREEN-LG-Chocolate-VX8500-VX-8500-tracking-/290457532851?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item43a09e39b3)
and also a replacment flex cable
(http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-LCD-Flex-Ribbon-Flat-Cable-LG-VX8500-Chocolate-/220645128446?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Mobiles_Accessories_RL&hash=item335f7978fe)

and you could easily get your local phone repair shop to replace them for you, usually they dont charge much

hope that helps :)

My ipod touch is craked

Hi

The only solution to this screen problem is to replace the screen.
You can purchase the screen for example from this website: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/iPod-Touch-LCD-Display-Screen-p-17191.html

You may be able to get a cheaper deal from ebay or from other websites.

Craked screen..

Hey elmo bby,
I would have it looked at by an authorized service technician to get a quote on how much it would cost to fix. Digital camera repairs are difficult to do without the education and skills needed, but of course if you wish you could try to order a new screen from the manufacturer and try to repair it yourself. The phone number to the manufacturers' parts department is 1-800-431-7278 option 3. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan
