Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
Yes, unfortuantely they do wear out (in/out connecting) ..thats why i always suggest using a USB hub (retails for about $10-$15 or less) -- plug it into one USB port and leave it (if its a desktop, dont try this with notebook or you will forget its there and cause damage while moving it around, from one place to another)
-try blowing out the dust from the inside USB connection of your computer , try it again -- but buy a USB hub first ,, youc ant go wrong having this around
is it a desktop ? if so , buy a new USB card and replace the old one
if its a notebook -- bad news , you need to spend money to replace the USB ports or buy another mainboard
i hate to see this happen --
what model & Mfg is your computer ?
