Hi i have aproblem with an e machine D620 i went to the intenet without anti virus the following day i tried to switch it on after putting the password the sceen becomes blank.help me guys.

Try starting up in safe mode, if you can then try installing a good antivirus eg avast and doing a full scan whilst still in safe mode, you may have to load safe mode with networking to get the antivirus.

If that worked then the antivirus, with any luck, will find any viruses on your pc and get rid of them, which hopefully will solve your problem.

If not then reinstall windows.

1. Backup anything you want to keep, assuming you can (ie. in safe mode).
2. Boot from windows cd.
3. Follow instructions.
4. You should have a working computer, copy over any files you backed up earlier.

This is assuming that the problem is a virus, although the reinstall should fix anything software related.

BSNL net connects but after some time svchost.exe error occurs

Hi,

The problem is with the Windows operating system. Either the OS is infected by a virus or it is corrupt.

The best and effective thing I can suggest you is to reinstall the Operating system on the computer. Please scan your computer once you have reinstalled the OS using a good antivirus.

Hope this helps.

AC'97 Audio Codecs Blue screen of death on install please help me fix this problem thanks dell dimension 2350

This usually means your HD has a virus. It could be a boot virus. The best way to get rid of it is to completely reinstall your OS. When you turn on your computer put in your OS software or recovery software (if software recovery does not work you will have to put on new version of OS from another disk). After you put the disk in, restart your computer and hit Enter when the screen prompts to Boot from CD...
If this does not work, you can purchase a anti-boot virus software from your local comp store, otherwise you may need a new HD. But try reinstalling the OS from scratch, that is the best way.

Hi I'm mhel, this message appear when you replace your motherboard with a new one without formating your harddrive or maybe some virus attack, so the only possible solution is to format your hard drive to get rid of this messag. hope this will help

Reinstalled os and now pc runs slow, network card does not work?

The 4 top anti-virus on planet,
G-Data
Avira
Kaspersky
Norton 2009

If you where running AVG, get rid of it as it is garbage, it is 21 out of top 20 virus software. You can download a free repair tool from Avira
also that is run is dos(before windows starts) and you would not have to reinstall the OS.

As for your drivers, just go to the mfg site and you can get all the drivers you need for the hardware on your system.

You will need a bootable antivirus solution to clean the viruses off of the machine if it's that bad, or at least that is the easiest way I know of.

Look, here is the real deal, your PC when booted to the hard drive into windows OS has what are called OS protected files. That means that even the best scanner will not remove it totally from the machine while booted in Windows OS.

When you use a bootable AV solution it runs the OS from the CD, then when you are scanning the drive for those little nasties, it can be remove, because the OS on the drive is not protecting them.

However be aware when using this method, that any files can and will be removed!!! The way I look at it, if it's a virus I don't want it on my hard drive! period! Then once the virus is removed format and reinstall the OS. Sorry to hear about your Recovery Partition!

There are ways to make these yourself, but if you don't know what your doing, relax Bart has you covered!

Check that out, that should fix you up. Yeah I know this is not a free solution, but one I know will work!
