The error code means; "Cannot connect to the access point for an unknown reason"
Basically it means you are going to need to reconfigure the access point settings

Make sure the security key in the connection settings matches that of the access point. If this error code occurs even after connections are allowed, the wireless signals may be too weak at your location. Try moving closer to your access point, and make sure there are no people, objects, or other obstacles between the system and the access point. When connecting to an Internet hot-spot for which a proprietary security key has been set, make sure you configure your connection

if this does not work its a possibility that the access point has reached a maximum number of connections and is unable to connect to your device. Try again later to see if it will allow you to connect.

Try to access the internet but keep getting error code 051300

This is a common problem, first do the basics to make sure nothing has went wrong maunally, try re-typing the password if there is one. if not. just try reconnecting.

If that does not work, this is where it starts getting a little hard but usefull, go to your router and press the reset button, fix the connecting antenna towards your dsi and then try reconnecting with your dsi very close to the router, (dont worry you dont have to stay close to the router for very long) when it connects you can move but i reccomend you stay in the same room as the router, Your welcome plz rate :D

I keep getting the Error code :051300 -2 what does it mean?

It means: Unable to connect to your wireless network

Likely cause: It appears that the security settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow.

How to fix: Make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Nintendo DS exactly as they appear in your router's settings.

Don't know how to find your router's security key?

How do you get internet on my DSI ERROR CODE : 051300

It appears that the security settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not the same as what your wireless router is set to allow. Make sure the security key and security type are entered into the Nintendo DS exactly as they appear in your router's settings. If it is different from you router's change it to what your router has, then try to connect again in the internet.

If that does not resolve your issue try to unplug your router and wait for a few minutes then plug it again. Wait for the router to initialize and connect your DS again to the internet. Check if it will work.

I hope this resolves your problem.

I have a di-524 router and my dsi tries to connect using wep and I get the error message error code: 051300-1 can you help

Error Code: 051300 Our experience has shown that this error message is typically caused by WEP Key issues. Please read the following information:

  • Check Nintendo's router info for special notes, if available, for your router.
    1. Click here to go to our Wireless Router Configuration page.
    2. Use the drop-down box on the left to select, if available, your router manufacturer.
    3. Click on your router's model number, if available.
    4. Read any "special notes" at the top of the router's page. Many issues can be solved by changing settings described in the "special notes."

  • Are you using WEP security on your router?
    1. Log into the router using the default IP (consult your router's manual for assistance)
    2. If you are using 64-bit encryption, the WEP Key must be a 10-character key consisting of numbers or letters A through F.
    3. The WEP key is case sensitive, so be sure to enter it exactly as it appears.
    4. If you are using 128-bit encryption, the WEP Key must be a 26-character key consisting of numbers or letters A through F.
    5. The WEP Key must be a Hexadecimal (1-9, A-F, no other special characters or letters).
    6. Verify they are using the WEP Key in the first (#1) slot. Even though your router may have multiple slots, the Nintendo DS is only compatible with the WEP Key in slot #1.

  • Check to see if your router is using MAC filtering.
    1. Log into the router using the default IP.
    2. Find the section for MAC Filtering (typically under "Security").
    3. If MAC Filtering is on ("enabled"), enter the Nintendo DS’s MAC address to the list of approved MAC address. For info on locating the DS’s MAC address, click here. For instructions on how to find the MAC address for Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL, click here.
(For assistance with locating the MAC Filtering section of your router's setup tool, please consult the router's manual or contact the manufacturer.)

  • When using connection files 1,2, or 3 on any Nintendo DS system:Check to see if your router is set to "g only" mode. In order to work with the Nintendo DS, the router must be set to "mixed" or "b and g".

I carnt connect to the internet by my dsi error code keeps comeing up 051300-1

Im going to guess that your wireless router is a "wireless-n". If it is then you will have to go into your router settings and change it to either G and N or just G as the DSi does not support the wireless-n configuration.

If thats not your issue then give me a message and I will do my best to help you out.
