Question about Acer Aspire 5610-4648 Notebook
Right click on the desktop, choose "Appearance and Personalization", "Display settings", and doublecheck that the resolution is set properly for your display.
You can choose the 'advanced' button and try 'list all modes'. It will display all supported modes for your hardware.
