Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WF000 Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Wiring Diagram I require a wiring diagram for a WMA34 hotpoint washing machine. I have changed the drum bearings and have assembled the machine to a point where I have the wires to join the power input terminals to the circuit board and the pressure switch. If you can advise on the colour code that would be of assistance..

I have the same problem, I managed to fit new bearings but thinking I could remember which cable goes where I didn't bother to write them all down.

    I'm now left with a Green/Brown & Purple/Green cable which I don't know where to go.ARGH!!!!!

I have a WMA34P Hotpoint.......Please can someone help? Is there a colour coded wiring diagram available, I would be most appreciative!

I've repaired the bearings in my wf000 hotpoint washing machine, put it back together now it won't pump the water in, and the door lock light does'nt come on! any idea's wot is wrong?

I would say you have missed a wiring connection somewhere or connected the module up wrong. Hopefully you noted where all the terminals came from when you dismantled it or you may need a wiring diagram.

What is the exact model #?
check inside door of washing machine sometimes on the back, top area.

Some washers require special tools to replace the bearings.

Control Module WMA34

If my memory serves me well, the plugs/wires will only fit the correct spots on the module, and I believe there is a "jumper" on the original module, make sure you remove and install in the new module..Good Luck

Drum makes grinding noise when turning

Hi.
spin the drum by hand, if it feels rough or is noisy, then you probably have drum bearing failure.
Another possibility is one or more of the drum paddles may have come adrift..
These can be replaced.

Peace,
From ngafm,

I understand that you have,

HAVE REPLACED DRUM BEARINGS, MACHINE RUNS,BUT WILL NOT COMPLETE WASH CYCLE ( FILLS, WASHES BUT WILL NOT MOVE ONTO SPIN ) TRYING TO GET WIRING DIAGRAM TO CHECK I HAVE RECONNECTED THINGS IN RIGHT PLACE !

How old is this washer that you are spending so much money in parts for?How old is the appliance?

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you may not be advisable to put good money into bad! New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
You need a hands on tech for this repair!
Sounds like you really need a Hotpoint trained tech , so as not to spend weeks repairing, or not your washer.
My father and grandfather used to teach me , ("When in dought, don't)

If I were there I could show you the wiring order without the diagram!!!!!!!!!!

In the USA thousands of deaths and house fires happen when corners are cut, and cost home owners much more than the few bucks they plan on saving!
Do it right, like the rest of the things you did in you life to get this far!
Call a factory service and let them help you.
Stay healthy!
You will be fine.

Bless You,
ngafm1
Please give me a good rating for this fine advice i give you, before you sign off.

Thank You

DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG THE POWER FIRST!
Remove the lid and the motor is sat to one side on top of the drum.
