Question about Computers & Internet
I have been having with my laptop's DVD/RW drive. It doesn't recognize any DVD or CD that I put into it. All it does is spin for about thirty seconds and then it stops. When go to my My Computer, it says that the drive is empty. If I try to explore the drive, the computer ejects the disk and gives the message: "Please insert a disk." I already tried solutions involving with the registry but it didn't have any effect. Customer service tried thought it was some thing with the region compatibility but I don't think it was the issue. My OS is Vista. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
+/- media matters =)
make sure you're using compatible media... some cd/dvd drive will do this spinning and spit out the media they don't recognize. if you're inserting blank cd/dvd, check the lable on the disk if you're using the plus "+" then replace it with a minus "-" then vise versa...
