If you put the input from HDMI3 into HDMI2 does the problem follow the input, or does it stay with HDMI3? If it stayed with HDMI3, check the connector visually for damage (cracks, dirt, bent connector). You may have to replace the board, or if you are really handy, the connector. If the problem moved to HDMI2, then look for a cable or device problem.

After purchasing a PVR machine from Shaw cable, our Samsung series 6 51" LCD tv requires having the source output on HDMI3. Is there a way to change the " TV " button on the remote to...

We had this same problem on our Samsung 5 series. What we ended up doing was leaving the PVR plugged into HDMI 3 and renamed HDMI 3 to PVR. If you go to your source list and hit the Tools button (i believe its Tools) you should get the option to rename or give a nickname to a particular source.

Today all my HDMI jacks except for HDMI3 quit working. I can plug all my devices into HDMI3 with no issues, plug the same components into HDMI1,2,4 and I get the error of no signal. Any ideas besides...

No, typically there are 2 keys written to a TV for the HDCP copy protection. 1 key is usually dedicated to 1 HDMI and the other key handles the others. Sounds like your TV either forgot 1 key or it has corrupted the software which controls the key. The only solution is to replace the main PCB to correct the problem. If this sounds like something you would like to do yourself, post back and I will try to give you some further assistance.

Samsung 913V LCD Monitor--No display when vga plug plugged in

1. please check by pressing num lock or caps lock key to verify that your machine is booting up, if yes then check the cable and if after changing the display cable it doesnt show up anything, it means you have a faulty unit

2. if numlock/caps lock key doesnt work, then your machine is not booting up, please check for loose ram etc.

it depends on what your using it for, adjust colour tones to what you think looks natural, contrast between 80-90, keep sharpness below 30. just have a play around till you find what best suits the source material.

NO sound on HDMI3 port and when playing Blu-Ray DVD's the screen is pink

Go to the samsung website, and find out how to upgrade the firmware for your TV. You will probably need a portable usb memory stick to do so (if your TV is equipped with one). HDMI is an evolving technology, and firmware upgrades can resolve many of these quirky issues.

Here's a possibility from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/faqs/supportFaqList.do?group=&type=&subtype=&model_nm=LN-S4696D&dType=D&mType=UM&vType=R&prd_ia_cd=02010100&acc_ia_fl=&disp_nm=LN-S4696D
Which Samsung LCD TVs Have The HDMI 1.3 Interface? spacer.gif Of the LN-T series Samsung LCD TVs, those models whose last two digits are 61, 65, 66, 69, 71, or 81 (for example, LN-T4071F or LN-T466F) have the HDMI 1.3 interface.
Samsung LCD TVs with HDMI 1.3 interfaces also have HDMI-CEC (HDMI - Consumer Electronics Control). For information about CEC, click HERE.
For information about individual Samsung LCD TVs with HDMI 1.3 interfaces and HDMI-CEC, click HERE. When the Samsung LCD TV web page appears, select the TV model you want information about by clicking the drop down list under Product Finder on the left side of the page.
Though other series of Samsung LCD TVs (LN-R, LN-S, etc.) have HDMI connections, none have models with the HDMI 1.3 interface.
