we lost our satelite during a storm the other night, turned the power off of the tv, next day no power. We have checked the outlet and it has power. When you plug it in, the red power light comes on for about 1 second and then fades out.

Timer light is flashing but tv wont turn on!

When the timer light stoped flashing the remote control would not turn on the TV. The next time the light quit flashing I held the power button in on the TV for about 5 seconds and it came on and has had no problems since then with the remote or the local TV power button.

Green power light will not stop flashing and tv will not turn on or off

You need to replace the 1000uf capacitors on the DM board thats the classic symptom of the DM caps being bad the light continues to blink repeatedly. If you need more info on the repair let me know.

TV Won'T Turn On

A fuse is not your problem. this TV has a safty feture that when it senses a problem it cuts the power to prevent any fouther damage, when you un plug it the TV resets and it will turn on agian. I have the same TV Check the CRT light guns there are 3 of them. If one goes bad it will cause your problem.
