Press and hold the Play / Repeat button on the TV. It will beep and give you some message about inserting a cassette. Just hold the button for a few seconds. Should do the trick. Worked for me.

I have a ge dect 6.0 and it flashes a blue light and display says NEW VOICE MAIL...i have an answering machine not voice mail..HOW DO I GET THE BLUE LIGHT TO STOP flashng?

Try pressing the message button and see where is rings to. If this is on a phone system the call back feature got turned on by someone call that phone while it was in use. By pressing the message button that ext. will ring...answer it and then the light will stop blinking. Also note this can be set multiple times. Another way is if this is on a digital KSU enter the feature clear code *790 that will also clear message light.

If this is one of the consumer line phones the phone company is sending a signal that the voicemail box they are providing has messages. You will need to consult the instruction manual to clear that if the phone company does not provide that service. If it there and you don't know its there the light will keep coming back on. If you need to find your phone try this link.

Green box keeps popping up in upper right corner

You should be watching your dvd's on an input and not on tv analog 3. Every time the tv "senses" a signal change in the audio that screen will pop up. Connect the DVD player to the tv by using either the red, white and yellow (composite) connections or using the green, blue, red, white and red (component). Once you are on an actual input that box will stop popping up.

Tv monitor turns blue during forward or reverse vcr search

On some TV's the screen will go blue if there is not a strong, solid video signal present. This is to prevent the showing of very snowy or all snow channels, or garbled, mixed-up external video signals. This is normal. On some VCR's the video signal changes when the FF or REW search feature is used, and this could trigger the TV to go to blue screen. The only way around this if you can enter the TV's menu and turn off the blue screen feature.
