How do I set time on alpine car stereo model number 3DE-7887

To set the time, make sure that the receiver is in Time mode (the clock is displayed). Press the Title/CLK button, if needed. Then press and hold the CLK button for at least 3 seconds or until the time starts to blink. If you want to set the time to the nearest hour to the current time on the display, press the 4/Mix/CT button. (Note: the clock control labels are in fine print above the key.) (9:38 AM will become 10 AM; 9:20 PM will become 9:00 PM). If you want to set the hour, press the 5/RPT/H button. Each press will advance the hour by one. To set the minutes, press 6/Scan/M until you reach the current minute. If you do not press a button for 5 seconds, the unit will leave the Set mode. You'll need to press and hold CLK to return to the Set mode. If you are done setting the clock and do not wish to wait, press and release the CLK button.

The manual is available here: http://autosound21.co.kr/shop/board_data/automanual/3de-7887_om.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Is alpine going to upgrade the usb formay from fat32 to ntsf for playing memory sticks in unit or how do you format music to fat32 on a windows xp ntsf format without wiping out hard drive

The Alpine CDE-103BT requires only USB media that is FAT12/16/32. You can format your USB medium on your PC to FAT32 then copy your media (music) to the the USB drive.
Insert your USB Drive to the PC On your PC navigate to Start ->MY Computer Then locate your the drive that is your USB Drive. At this time you will want to save any of your data before continuing. All Data on the USB drive will be lost. Next ensure that you have selected the correct drive. Right Click on the drive on go to format... Under File System select FAT32. I would suggest leaving Quick Format unchecked. So you ensure that will information is removed. Then Click start. Next copy your media (music) back to the USB Drive. Insert in to the CDE-103BT Stereo.
Notes: MP3/WMA/AAC files are prepared, then stored to a USB memory. This unit can recognize at least 100 folders (including root folder) and 100 files per folder stored in USB memory. Do not make a file's playback time more than 1 hour.

Press the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843

to choose the desired mode.
Each press changes the modes as follows:

TREBLE: -7 ~ +7
Subwoofer : 0 ~ +15

Alpine CDE-102 w/usb port: will not

Hello desoren,

The receiver may not be set to recognize MP3 files.

Press and hold "sound setup" until the unit enters setup mode. Rotate the volume knob to "play mode" and press "enter". Check that the setting is CD/MP3 (not CD/MA), or rotate the volume knob to change the setting to CD/MP3 and press enter again. Press and hold "sound setup" again until the unit exits sound setup.

If the files are still not recognized, I'd try using a different USB drive, a different computer to write the MP3's, and/or a different application to download or rip the original music content.

Hope this helps.

Need to set my clock alpine cde9852

You need to push and hold the title button till it flashes the hour. Then turn the volume knob to set the hour. Next push the mode button and the minutes will flash. Again turn the volume knob to set.
The title button is to the far right and the mode button is below the volume knob. That should do it!
