Question about Oasis FreshStart 80 oz 10-Cup Coffee Maker
There is probably a scale deposit around the tank outlet that leads to the sprayhead. Unplus the macine from the wall. Remove the top cover. Pull on the black rubber connector that leads to the sprayhead until it comes off. Insert a Bunn Deliming spring into the black rubber connector and feed it into the tank, run it back and forth several times. Remove the deliming spring and reconnect the black rubber connector. make sure it is on all the way around. Replace top cover. Pour in a pot of water. you should get an instantaneous flow of water from the brew basket.

The two most common reasons for overflow or underflow have to do with the carafe lid and the filter basket - they key to smooth flow with this coffee maker is making sure the filter basket and carafe lid are making the proper contact with each other so that the center knob on the carafe lid pushes slightly up on the filter basket spring. Make sure the carafe lid is completely closed. Make sure the filter basket is pushed all the way down. Make sure you are not using the gold tone filter and a paper filter at the same time. For some reason, I get better results when the handle of the carafe is resting against the right side wall. If everything is in place, I would suspect a problem with either the filter basket being clogged or some problem with the carafe lid - call Cuisinart as they should be able to order these parts for you.

An ERR 2 may be cleared by a simple reset of the coffee maker. This
means unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. When powered back
on, select a brew function to see if the error reappears.
If it does reappear, ERR 2 indicates an internal error with the computer of the warming plate. This may be covered under Kitchenaid's 1 Year Hassle Free Warranty. I would advise you to call Kitchenaid Customer Service to see what options are available to you. Repair is not recommended, as it is not cost effective for the company or the consumer.
Their toll-free telephone number is 1-800-541-6390.

Try running a cupfull of vinegar through it followed by a pot of plain water. This will remove any hard water deposits which may be blocking the tubes.
