Panasonic PT-61LCZ7 is a Lemon I purchased this TV on 11/23/07 The first lamp assembly was replaced on 5/21/08 the second lamp assembly was replaced on 2/19/09 and now it is 10/16/10 and it is out again. Are there any options or people to talk to about the manufacture taking the TV back and / or replacing it? This TV is not worth $600.00- $700.00 a year to keep it working!

Do what I panasonic 1-800 number, tell them your story, then tell them you want it forwarded to the top guys, they will give you a referance number and tell you someone will call you back, hopefully the "big" guys will pay for the next lamp, I'm going to ask for a new tv of comparable value...I've had it with these guys! Your lamp needs changed, after removing the lamp it might still, look good, but it is bad. After a while the bulb builds up a internal resistance, and it makes the TV hard to start, and then it gets to the point where it will not come on at all. You can go to and get a new lamp, and that should take care of your problem.

No picture panasonic model pt-61lcz7 the lamp is not coming on. also need to know how to replace the lamp.

There are other things that can cause the image to go away besides the lamp, like a color wheel, a ballast or a dmd board. Replacing the lamp is very easy you just need to open the back of the Tv, unscrewing everything, take out the housing, unscrew it take out the lamp, put in the new one and screw everything again, also make sure that you close everything perfectly because if you don't the lamp might not light up.
