Hello,

Remove the Print Head:

  • Turn on the printer. Lift the top cover.
  • Open the paper output tray at the front of the printer. Pull down the inner cover to open it.
  • Press the tab of the first ink well to unseat it. Lift it up and back to dislodge it, and remove it from the print head. Repeat for the other four ink wells.
  • Raise the print head lock lever on the left side of the print head.
  • Lift and pull out the print head.
Install New Print Head:
  1. Remove the new print head from its packaging.
  2. Hold the print head on its sides. Slide out the orange protective cap on the print head. Do not touch the electrical contacts or the print head nozzles.
  3. Insert the print head into its holder.
  4. Lift and close the inner cover. Reinsert the paper output tray if you wish.
  5. Lower and close the outer cover.
Good luck.

Will not print---all I get is a blank paper

Try to check the ink of your printer that they have more ink inside. Or els just check the printerhead of that printer its maybe that was a problem for that. If they could not print at all after this solution just change your printerhead it is because that was the problem. If your printer are using the built-in printerheat from the cartridge just replace the cartridge of what color are did not print but if your using separate printerhead of your cartridge just only replace the printerhead only.

Printerhead is not installed.

What you will need to keep in mind is that the ink cartridge contains liquid ink, once opened, can and will evaporate. First, wash you hands with soap and water to remove excess finger/hand oils. Use a clean, moist, paper towel, make sure you ring out the excess water from the paper towel before you begin. Remove cartridge, gently wipe the towel over the contact's pad, and the nozzel tip. Use a dry towel, and patt dry, reinstall. and run an alignment pattern test.
Note: If you do not see an ink trail on the paper towel, The Ink has dried up, and you will need to but a new cartridge.
Note: do not touch the Cartridge GOLD contacts, with your fingers, finger OIL will clog the jet pours, and cause them to corrode.
