Ready heater r110 I have replaced nozzle, filers all, cleaned sensor, runs some times for 30 sec shuts down

The R110 is a spark plug heater, as you know. It does not have the sophisticated electronics that the newer heaters have.

My guess: SP heater runs 30 seconds & shuts down- bypassphotocell. If it runs fine, then the photocell is defective. The test is simpleIf the photocell proves to be good follow these troubleshooting tips

R100 reddy heater, low pressure forced air heater. the heater ignites, motor runs for 30 seconds then shuts down. photo cell good, filters clean, no ignition board, pump pressure unknown.

The R100 is a kerosene heater and the RLP100 is a propane heater so I am not sure when one you have.
If it is kerosene then you may need to check the pump pressure. Also the Safety swith can give you a cut out after 30 seconds.

If the unit is Propane then you could have a bad control board or a flame sensor.

You can call our service department at 1-800-475-5660

Thanks

Water spilled out of plastic seal on lower drainage pipe

I would need a better description of plastic seal or a good picture It is possible it could be replaced but might be cheaper to buy a new heater given it's age. They do not manufacture as long lasting equiptment as they did in the 50s 60s and 70s

My Laser 30 keeps getting a ee 12 code ans shuts

Ken,

The screen for the circulating fan has lint on it. Remove it from the back top panel and wipe it off. The lint keeps the air from be able to blow over the stove and it overheats.

Good luck,

Tom

I hold button in for 30 seconds, machine runs and then machine shuts off when iI release the button on the back. I have enough propane, would it be the spark plug

It is most likely a bad thermocouple. Look in the end of the heater (when not running), you will see a spark electrode and a thin probe. It is the thin probe, it screws into a fitting in the gas line. Remove it and take it to a good hardware store that sells heaters for a replacement. Check that all connections are tight and the probe is well into the flame.

Maybe you want to think about getting a tankless heater. The gad unit works real good. But the electric water heater i want to think you should check the thermostate.Maybe it is struck and not cutting off every time.
