How to activate the caller id on Panasonic KX-TG3612BX landline phone....Kindly help

Try connecting your phone to some other phone lines in which the caller id is working properly and this way you can check if the problem is with your device or line.

For all the phones to display the caller information properly, CLID (caller line identification service) should be enabled for your landline connection. Please contact your phone line provider to enable this service and you should be able to see the caller id information in your panasonic device.

Shouldn't be necessary; just make sure it has been activated.

I have had this phone (twin) for quite a few years . If your incoming line supports caller ID it should work immediately. I never had to activate this. I would check if caller ID on your line is working. Check with another phone if you can.

not only Panasonic, most other brand phones imported from other countries wont work in in India ( caller ID). Panasonic phones of Panasonic India, will work.I think panasonic has to explain this. if there are networks which does not support this equipment, atleast they should mention this is their booklets, to avoid users roam around telecom offices. To my understanding, all the land phones of BSNL through out India are caller ID enabled by default and is free!.
