How can I adj the steering on this tractor it seems the front wheels are out of line with each other?

Im guessing its an MTD. They come from the factory with severe toe out. Luckily the drag links have adjustable ball joints. Break loose the jam nuts and remove the ball joint from wheel spindle. Count the number of turns so you can put it back if need be. Don't ever do it. Do 3 or 4 turns at a time. Reassemble and assess. Once you have it where you want it retighten jam nuts

Ive replaced the cv shaft but the noise is still their...any ideas?

Have you checked the front wheel bearings? I've seen similar problems on several front wheel drive cars. On my first experience, we also started by changing the CV joints only to find it did not solve the problem. We then though it was a transmission problem.... wrong again. Finally checked the front wheel bearings (Both sides) and found the passenger side was making the noise. Bearing replaced (not cheap by the way) but solved the problem.

Always in 4 wheel drive

Confrim this by lifting the front wheels off the ground, if that is the case the 4X4 Transfer case may be jammed or low on fluid. You may also have a defective actuator at the transfer case.

Front left hub and wheel get extremely hot. no pulling

Please get the disc brakes checked, it may be jammed causing friction on disc causing the heat. For a try, you can take car on empty road and do some short sudden acceleration and hard braking. This way jammed disc brake may free up and solve your problem.

On my Elna SU ,The front white top selector is jammed

Have you turned the stitch width and stitch length selectors back to zero each before trying to change the stitch selector wheel? Really important to always do this.

Have you resolved this issue now?

The front wheel assembly is wobbly. Cant seem to find a new wheel anywhere. Thought that fixing it would be cheaper than getting a new trike but maybe not?? Thanks Jodie

you'll want to start by taking the front wheel off of the bike. there are two nuts on the axle on each side of the hub. (besides the ones you loosened to remove the wheel) the two inside nuts keep the bearings tightly in position inside the hub, and the two outer nuts are jamnuts that are tightened to the two inside nuts to keep them from turning once you've got the tension set. so loosen the jamnuts from the tension nuts, set the tension tight to where the wheel doesnt wobble but not so tight that the wheel doesnt spin freely. then tighten the jam nuts while holding the tension nuts in place with a wrench so that the tension nuts dont move when you're tightening the jam nuts. take your time and you'll be fine. I hope this helps and Good luck!

I have a 2005 fx4 supercrew when backing up my driver side front wheel doesnt seem to be turning. but in forward it seems to work well.

you have bad pads or you have something jammed into the rotor that causes the wheel to lock up when turning in reverse. you may have a problem with the front axle or the from differental get it checked right away to avoid expensive repairs.

Seems like front brake engaged

Is yr bike fitted with disc brakes to the front?
If yes thn you will have to overhaul the brake calipers, it seems the pistons have jammed in there probabely due to rust on it at the pitted areas.
Better still is to overhaul the brake mastercylinder too.
Good luck

Balance wheel is totally jammed

machine was working fine when suddenly it just jammed up. Everything seems to be fine, but the balance wheel is completely jammed rigid. I've looked at the shuttle and there are no thread jams at all. The needle moves fine from side to side with different stitch selections, but wont go up and down with the wheel.
I have tried looking in the machine, but I can't find any thread jammed.
