I'm supposing that you have put the Color and the R/G/B-level settings to the max and that didn't helped.
In that case the only thing left that you can do is to alter the level of the color at the source: in the driver for the video card (if you use a pc) or the settings of whatever player it's connected to.

When the bulb ages the image becomes darker, but it doesn't loses it's color - it doesn't become black and white - so it can't it in your case.

Toshiba TDP-T9. the light won't change from yellow to green. we tried restarting the computer and the projector, but nothing seems to work.

Well first check the colour scheme of your monitor and of the projector.
If this doesn't work check the working hours of the lamp. Try cleaning the filters and if this doesn't solve your problem the best thing to do is to change the lamp of the device.
If you need further assistance please leave a comment. Cheers

My color is washed out and dim and the colors are wrong . Toshiba 65h83 projection hd tv

I don't know your model, therefore I will tell you genericaly what the problem may be.

There are many things that can cause this type of fault. The response of the video amplifier stages would have to be checked right up through to the output that drives the projection. it is also possible that there is a fault with the colour demodulator. If the set uses projection tubes it is possible that the tubes are weak, or there is dirt in the optics. Colour demodulation problems can also cause the colours to not be correct. Many models using tubes have an optical transparent cooling fluid in front of the tubes. This fluid may have to be changed.

Hi 123d

Have you tried resetting the lamp timer ?

If you have and it didn't solve the problem , take out the lamp and check for any discolouration or markings on the lamp.

If you do find anything out of order then the lamp would need replacement.

ok this problem occurs mostly due to the loose connection in the VGA cable between the pc and the projector..
try changing the cable to give any other input and see it and then confirm it... that the color sensor of the projector is weak...

Toshiba TDP-S20 lamp problem

The lamp ballast which ignites the lamp has failed it sounds like. The red flashing lamp is the tell tale sign with a good lamp installed. Make sure the lamp door is closed too, there is a door switch that can also trigger the red lamp and no startup. There is a company in San Diego CA that can repair the unit called PROJECTOR DOCTOR
