Yes, it will support it, it says just that in the second paragraph: All of the internal AirPort hardware is supported for scanning. But the support isn't quite perfect - in FAQ it says this: Apple introduced a new public AirPort API in 10.6. Support for this new API is in the process of being implemented, though it appears that the API does not respond very reliably and might behave well or not at all. Or something in between, or switch randomly.
If you want 100% reliability you should wait the next version, otherwise you can install it, just that it might need multiple attempts to do just one sniffing. In that case you should get the latest beta

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

What I would suggest is reseating the airport card as it may be the card has come loose or the cable is not connected properly. The following support page on the apple website will tell you how to do it.

Failing that you will probably have to buy an new airport card or a wireless usb adaptor. You should be able to pick one up from ebay fairly cheaply.

Hope this helps.

My kismac opens in safari, how do I get it to open in its own page,ie kismac file edit channel ect? from this I can select file preferences.

Hi.

KisMAC is ordinarily listed in Applications, like any other installed app.
If KisMAC does not appear in applications, then reinstall the program following the directions in the provided links (you may need to install XCode and SVN client separately).

To open preferences:

a. Open KisMAC.app from Applications
b. Click KisMAC->Preferences
You can also open preferences by pressing COMMAND + COMMA hotkeys at any time.

If that does not work, reinstall Kismak following directions below:

KisMAC Compilation & Installation HowTo

How to instal KisMAC in Pasv mode (useful).

If you still get troubles there may be a problem with MacOS, try uninstalling KisMAC, updating Mac OS, then install KisMAC again.

AirPort Password

Hello,

This article provides instruction on the installation of the AirPort Wireless Networking card into a Power Mac G4 (AGP Graphics) computer. Similar instructions, with graphics, are included with the AirPort card.

1. Shut down the computer (choose Shut Down from the Special menu) and unplug all cables except the power cord.
2. Touch the metal PCI access cover on the back of the computer to discharge static electricity. Avoid walking around until you have finished installing the card. Unplug the power cord then lift the latch on the side of the computer.
3. Gently lower the side panel onto a clean, flat surface. Lower it onto a soft cloth to avoid scratching the case.
4. Connect the antenna cable to the connector on the end of the AirPort card. The cable is usually stowed on the side of the PCI card guide.
5. Remove the metal clip and pull the AirPort card from the adapter card, shown below. The adapter card and clip are not used with your Power Mac G4.

6. Insert the AirPort card (serial number side up) through the opening in the PCI card guide, and into the connector on the main logic board as shown below.

7. Raise the side panel and press it against the case until it snaps into place.
Instructions for using the AirPort software are in Mac Help, available in the Help menu.

Wireless Internet access requires an Internet service provider (fees may apply) and AirPort (or AirPort-compatible) wireless Ethernet card and base station. Some ISPs are not compatible with AirPort. For more information, see technical document 106590: "AirPort: Requirements for Wireless Internet Access"

Thank You

Airport hardware is not recognized

I say it'd be more likely that the airport card shifted in the socket. I could be wrong but take a look. I'm not sure if it's true on the 12" models, but on all the others, there is a cover in the battery compartment that hides the airport. Take it out and put it back in. My 17" powerbook took a 4ft drop to the asphalt late last year and it came out with only a few small scratches. You might also try swapping the airport card with another one just to verify if the slot is good.
