Hi,

I am sorry but you can't upgrade the graphics card in laptops. You can however, look for moddded drivers for your card which could enable overclocking and loads of other performance tweaks.

Edit photographs video

In recent years, laptops have become almost as powerful as desktops. You don't have to remain stationary when doing things such as editing photos or video. You can take your project with you. With the right combination of laptop and video editing program, you can produce professional looking videos anywhere.

Make sure your laptop is capable. Editing video is both a processor and memory heavy process. If you have a slow processor and only the minimum amount of RAM required, your video editing software may run slowly. Also, make sure you have enough hard drive memory to store your clips and renders. Choose video editing software. Most computers today will have a program installed with the operating system, such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker, but these tend to be basic. If you want something more advanced, consider purchasing it. Consumer grade video software runs as little as $50, while professional options such as Avid Media Composer can cost thousands of dollars. Become familiar with your software. Certain video editing programs have a higher learning curve than others. If you've chosen a professional grade video editing program, such as Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer, learning the program may be difficult, so you take a tutorial or read a manual to get acquainted with the various functions of the program. Capture your video. Connect your connection cable or SD card to your laptop. Open your video software and look for an option that says "Capture." The labeling may be different, depending on your software. For example, in Final Cut Pro, the option is "Log and Transfer." Capturing your raw footage imports it to the video editing software so it can be edited. Edit. Once you have captured your video, your clips should appear in your clip library. From there, you should be able to drag them onto the timeline, trim them, slow them down, add effects and manipulate them any way you want.

Instal ATI driver and utility, choose advanced mode in it, choose power, choose switchable graphics method,
i chose manually and not application needs based, Apply & close, on the desktop choose right click and chose configure switchable graphics. Click on high performance GPU (radeon) or Power sawing GPU (Intel HD)

What is the reason you want new drivers? Areyou trying a game that is not working? Did you check to make sure the game or software supports your video card? This unit only has integrated intel hd graphics which really doesn't support much of anything.

you cna get the drivers here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/hdgraphics/

What is ati hd 4250 graphics and can i play all games using this graphics

Primer:

The AMD ATI Radeon Mobility HD 4250 is;

1) A mobile design of GPU. Mobile meaning being made for Laptops.
2) GPU = Graphics Processing Unit,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

The GPU is essentially the 'Graphics Engine'
This GPU is used for Integrated Graphics.
Integrated also means OnBoard.
ON the motherBOARD.

This GPU is a chip soldered to the motherboard. There is no upgrading it as you would for a desktop computer.
(As in changing to a better Graphics Card)

Integrated graphics borrows from the System's resources.
The system resources are the Processor, and Ram Memory.
Anything that borrows from the system resources will slow the computer down, as far as the Operating System is concerned, and the program that is being run.

In this case referring to playing a game, if the game is intensive it will require a lot of the 'graphics engine'.
The GPU
The GPU stated above will borrow from the system resources, and if an intense game is being played, the game may freeze, or you'll have low frame rates, and/or poor graphics quality.

A lot to absorb, I know. Wanted you to have the facts.
Short answer?
NO.

You will be able to play a lot of the games out there, but not the new intense one's.
It's not a gamer laptop with that GPU being used.

[The GPU is an AMD ATI RV620

Hi, I have a strange problem ASUS X70IO laptop. CPU core Duo T6500, Ram 4Gb, and an nvida GEFORCE GT 120M 1gb. The Problem is that sometimes (randomly) my monitor became black with strange colored...

Hi,
This is definitely a display issue ,going black could be the inverter or cable, as you are getting vertical line, it seems you need to change the display. It seems the heat produced by the video card in your system is too high if the cooling is not enough it might give you this problem due to over heating. Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) 105 C for nvida GEFORCE GT 120M.

The screen resolution for your laptop is WXGA++(1600 x 900) which is 17",for this kind of display I would say display nothing less than 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 is high defination (HD) display.

The GRAPHICS card you have in the system it has

  • Maximum Digital Resolution 2560x1600
  • Maximum VGA Resolution 2048x1536
  • Maximum GPU Temperature (in C) 105 C
  • Maximum Graphics Card Power (W) 50 W
Try to decrease the hardware acceleration of the video card and check how it works.Other wise replace the display.

How can i allocate more memory to video card of acer aspire 5100

You can only do that with onboard video cards. If you have an onboard you can choose how much ram to assign to it in your bios settings. However it is limited and if you already have 128 assigned to it, that's probably about all it's gonna give ya. But hey it never hurts to check Assigning your physical memory to your graphics card will result a shortage of your total system memory and your whole system will slow down a bit.
Video cards meant for better processing the graphical content of your system and free up your system's physical memory.[via]
So, if you buy a new and better video card with more memory you will have a fast system with better performance.

I bought Acer Aspire 4920G Laptop, It is working but the graphics

The 256MB graphics currently shown in your PC is on board graphics which is most probably shared by the RAM. Its not actually graphics card. And the performance is very poor compared to actual graphics card or GPU (Graphics processing Unit). There is nothing that can to done to improve performance other to add an actual GPU.

Thanks.
