Ge pss26mstss water is not dispensed but icemaker is working

Ok, this problem is going to be fixed from the back of your refrigerator.. Follow the water lines down to the double solenoid located generally on the bottom of the unit. This solenoid has a double coil and double water inlets and outlets. One is for the ice maker and on is for the water. They are molded together as one unit. There will be two wire connectors that power this water valve. Turn off water supply and remove this solenoid valve. Most new units have quick release couplings on the water lines. Just push down or in and pull and the line come right out. Older models have Flare nuts and require a wrench to remove. Take this part to local appliance dealer. There are universal solenoid water valves that fit all refrigerators, or go online and order the valve with the correct model and part number. Personally I will pay a few dollars more so I can get the unit back together. This will fix your water and ice problems, often times solenoid sticks and the other side does not. Good luck I hope this solves your problem. Please post a solved comment on fixya, so I receive credit for the solve. This will increase my ranking on That is how I get paid. By knowing I am helping someone!!!!

Air blows cold even though i have it on warm

There are several things which can be done to diagnose the problem. First, with some of the Electronic Digital Climate Control units, if you have this type, there is a self-diagnostic routine a Technician can punch into the keypad for an evaluation of the system. You would need the sequence of the display buttons and a list of applicable Codes. This is something a Dealer would know.

Next, Check your heater hoses entering and exiting the heater core. This is essential in determining the presence of heat. Both hoses should be equally hot when the engine is running and the heater is turned on. If the water is not flowing through the hoses a water control part is bad or the heater core is plugged. This is when you look at water flow control valves or solenoids.

These control parts are activated either by direct cable, electric wire, or Vacuum lines. For the Vacuum devices, you should check for the presence of Vacuum to the operating Solenoid.

If you have equal heat in the heater hoses, then you look at the ductwork under the dash. A small flap control must be failing to route airflow past the heater core.

I have a furnace , model MMHA-07OABHR-05 serie MMH)603-0049 when it started the cicle tha main valve cant input the gas to start , please i need the electric diagram, if you can send me it , thank you

Hi, as far as getting a schematic for this unit, I have had no luck at all. This can be almost impossible these days.. On this pack unit, check the sequence of operation to see why you have no 24 volts to the main gas valve, The combustion motor will start first. Make sure its on. See if this unit has a pressure switch and make sure it is closing. You can bypass it by jumping it out.If the pilot lights, and if the unit has a flame sensor, make sure the metal tip is clean to send a signal to the module to fire the gas valve. If you have a meter to check the voltage, this will tell you a lot. Sounds as though you have a safety open somewhere in the circuit. You can eliminate almost all of them by using a jumper wire to find which part is the fault. Very easy to trouble shoot with out a schematic, if you look at it when it cycles, you can see the sequence of operation. Check across the main gas valve when it goes through the complete cycle, from the M terminal, and C terminal for 24 volts. You may have a faulty gas valve if all other parts have 24 volts. Please let me know, and I can walk you through it.

I have a mitsubishi daiya model SRC56HAA have lost the manual don't know how to get the cooling working

Is it possible to control the Mitsubishi Daiya Split Type Indoor Unit Model Number FDUM321HKXE2 as follows. We have an energy management system that controls the power supply to the room. This is done by using a door contact via a mini PLC to close and open the system The room is powerd up, all electrics and A/C as soon as the door is opened and closed after a 10 min. delay when the person leaves the room. I am trying the regulate the A/C not to power up on entrance. I need it to operate after close down only by requiring a manual operation of the wall control unit, i.e. it must be switched on manualy at each entry. Any advice ??? Regards Bill

One cyclnder is not getting gas where can I get the relay or check the one on it

hi here is web site,174

select your model from the list let it open and save a copy if it lets you or make a note of website

please check that inlet and ex push rodes are opening and closing the valves , on the non operating cyl

please check for valve clearance

does it has compression on that cyl ?

does it have spark on that cyl ?

is this engine a twin carb unit and do they have soleniods at the bottom each carb if so i suspect the solenoid on the non operating cylinder is not getting 12 volt to open the fuel flow

as a test use 2 wires and connect 12 volt + battery lead to 1 pin in connector to solenoid and connect other negative black lead to the other wire in the connector ( this should activate solenoid & open the fuel flow ) you have to get someone to help you

be carefull ie sparks and fuel !!!!!!

try starting and see if now runs on both cylinders iff so faulty solenoid

replace that solenoid

if that does not work and 1st suggestions are all ok i would then look at the carby for the cylinder that is not operating
it copuld have a blockage etc have a look and let me know

cheers paul

When doing a load and selecting Cold/Cold temps, I am only getting HOT water. All the temp settings are only allowing HOT water to flow. I have a Whirlpool GHW9150PW0 model. Anyone know why this is?

The cold part of the water inlet/mixing valve assembly (part #8181694) is not working. Disconnect power to the machine then remove the three screws at the back of the top panel securing it to the cabinet. Once the screws are removed, slide the top panel to the back of the machine then lift it off.

Check the valve solenoids using an ohmmeter. Disconnect a wire from each of the solenoids then measure the resistance between the terminals of each solenoid with the ohmmeter set to X100. The resistance of the solenoids must be almost identical at about 800 ohms.

Check the continuity of the solenoid wiring harness to the central control unit. Make sure the connector at the central control unit is properly seated to ensure good connection. The 4-wire valve solenoid connector is the fourth connector from the left (facing the front of the washer) of the central control unit.

Disconnect the solenoid wires from its terminals if the resistances of the solenoids found above are the same and there's a good connection between the solenoids and the central control unit. Cleaning the terminals will help. Reconnect the solenoid wires in place of the other solenoid wires, and then start a new cycle to check if the temperature of the water coming into the washer changes.

Replace the water inlet/mixing valve if one of the following is observed:
  1. The resistances of the valve solenoids are not the same; one solenoid is open, and the connection between the solenoids and the central control unit is okay.
  2. The water temperature does not change after the hot and cold solenoid wires are interchanged.
Remove the fill hoses then remove the valve assembly mounting screws. Disconnect the valve assembly outlet hose then remove the valve assembly from the cabinet. Connect the outlet hose to the new valve assembly then mount it into position in the cabinet with the mounting screws.

Slide the top panel into position then secure it the three screws to the back of the machine.

Please let us know how this guide helped you or not so that we may know how it worked and how to improve it, if necessary.

Humidistat know set to on. Water pressure to

Have you checked to see if the solenoid opens and closes? You should hear a distinct click when the solenoid valve energizes. Depending on the quality of the water in your area, it's possible that the valve is scaled up....again and plugged. If the valve operates, you can usually clean it with a product called CLR which dissolves scale (lime buildup). This will require removal and disassembly of the valve. Please be sure to turn off the power before working on the unit.
Some solenoid valves are equipped with an inlet screen that could also be plugged with scale or debris.

Split system outside unit won't come on for cooling, only heating

Check your filters, dog hair and lack of maintenance will definitely burden the cooling mode of the Mr Slim units.
