Question about Acer TravelMate 2700 Notebook
Ok. normaly beeping error is hardware problems. check your ram ( use the eraser to rub the surface of the copper circuit at the ram, or you can use the new ram to do troubleshooting.)

the beeps ate called post
Then what happens does it restart ? or just wont boot up ?
A bit more information please.
Not sure what you mean by 'when the hard drive beeps
does the hard drive start when you turn the laptop on
(at which point a do the beeps occur a single beep isn't unusual) and it stops when you turn the hard drive off - a beep then would be unusual.
I suspect you don't mean that, & if the laptop is working fine otherwise then I wouldn't worry about it or do you mean something else completely?
make sure the ram modules have secure seatings also check all power and data leads attached from motherboard to hard drive the same will apply for your graphics card
hope this helps
