I have acer aspire 5920, windows vista. i have the bluettoth button on the keyboard when i turn it on it says "NO DEVICE". how do i turn it on or enable it? do i need to install something?

As by your description, the FN F7 key combo did not solve the problem. Please restart the machine , press F8 then select from the list "Safe mode" then press enter. Then see how the Touch pad reacts in Safe mode. If it works perfectly in safe mode, we can assume you have a software problem that is preventing it from working in normal windows mode.
Please download and install the latest BIOS for your machine. The E525 has a issue where the TP just stops working, upgrading the BIOS solves the issue on the E525... Acer Aspire 5920 3813 BIOS
