Hi. Go to this site www.searspartsdirect.com Enter the model number and you will see the diagrams for this oven which show u exactly how to replace the element. You can also order the replacement element here.

One additional thought. It may be cheaper to get the replacement element from your local appliance store. Joe

4 thumbs up please. thank you.

My Chef Classic Wall mounted fan forced oven stopped working. Its grill section working. Fan and the light in the oven working well. Bot oven doesnot heat up. Please give a tip what is probably wrong?

The bake element has gone bad. They can visually look fine but still be bad. To check and replace that element you will unfortunately need to kill the power and remove it from the wall. Remove the back cover. Check for a low resistance (around 16 ohms) across the bake element. If the resistance is high the element is bad. Google the make and model for a replacement element.

I have a 'Simpson 2001 Thermaflow Oven' and a few months ago, i was heating it up, and i heard a pop, from then on my oven has not heated up, i cannot seem to find what is wrong with it!! Please...

I would say that the oven element has blown. It is common especially if you have a fan forced model. Make sure the fan works before you go buying a new element as the replacement will fail early. Simpson ovens have to be removed from the wall cavity to replace the fan and the element. Make sure you tuen the power off before doing anything...
Give the parts supplier your model number so that you get the fight element ( and fan) if necessary.

Im trying to replace the element at the back of the oven where the fan is. How do you get the element out

this is easier if you click this link its a video of how to replace the element in most stoves it will give you the basic concept of how the job is done http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vny1weT71s if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks Rick

note when you disconnect your element do not let the two wires fall into the back panel or you will have to remove the rear panel to get them

Elextrolux Oven stopped generating heat. Grill working ok. Sparks came out of Fan area followed by cloud of ash. What could be the possible cause and what part could be required ?

Hi.
It will be the oven element that has failed.
This is located at the rear of the oven compartment where the the fan is.
Remove the cover at the rear of the oven there you will see the oven element, a very easy job to replace.

My f&p wall oven model number BI602 is not reaching temperature

Most likely you have a faulty fan element- this is a round element that goes around the fan at the back. To check- Disconnect from power(easiest way is to switch off oven at fuse board). Remove rear panel inside oven (held on by screws), and visually check element- often you will see a blow mark on the element. Element is easily changed, although sometimes requires oven to be removed to access element wires from the back. Proceed if you are a confident DIYer, otherwise call a local service agent. Elements are readily available for $75-$125 depending on the retailer.

How do i replace oven heat element? It is a GE Profile electric glass top range, model # JBP90WV2WW serial # ZM203767G

Turn off the power to the oven. Remove the oven racks. Unscrew the element retaining screws on the rear wall. Carefully pull the terminals out of the back wall of the oven. Remove the wires. Place the wires on the new element, slide it into the opening, tighten the screws, replace the racks, turn on the power.

It would appear that the main oven element is not working. I had a power cut whilst using the oven recently and have only just realised that the oven will not heat up. Everything else is working ok. If it...

If it is a fan forced oven, the element is round in shape and goes around the fan blade on the back wall of oven.
To replace: Turn off power!!
-Remove side racks from oven, then remove rear panel.
-You should now see fan blade and fan element.
-You need to remove oven from cavity, then remove rear outer panel.
-You can now access element- it will be held in place by 2 small nuts either side of element wiring connections. Disconnect element wires, unscrew nuts. Element is now removed!
Reverse procedure to reassemble and test. If oven is heating OK, also check main oven thermostat is regulating temperature (ie clicks on and off), as sometimes thermostat can fail if element has blown

Fan and grill works but not heating up

Hi.
If the fan is working o/k, then you need a new fan oven element fitting.
Remove panel at rear of oven compartment, there you will see the element, undo any screws you can see to remove rear cover.
disconnect element taking care not to loose wires, and fit new element. test before you refit rear cover.
Plz rate this solution.Thanks

B1641 Fan Element Renewal.

If you can see the element once you have removed the inside rear panel, then remove any screws that you can see, and ease the element forward, pull the wires off, but do not let them slip behind the rear wall of the oven, or it means removing the whole oven, to fit the wires back on.
If you cannot see the screws, or they are fastened from the rear, then it will have to come out of the housing.
Hope this helps.
Please leave feeedback.
