I already put it in the shop. You were right. Wish you had told me that the first time and I would have saved some bucks. Thanks.

I would open it up and look for:
Broken wire
Damage brush or brush holder
Damaged trigger or wiring around it.
ALSO test the cord. Often when something falls the cord is yanked and a wire get broken inside or at attachment points. A multimeter set to read resistance is your friend.

Hello. Chances are that the fall broke the switch. If you are handy you can do a continuity test to see if the switch is bad. If not, consider sending it into a ryobi repair center. http://www.ryobitools.com/support/service_center_locators

Router dropping connection to start with , I would cycle the power and it would go back to working. Now it's stopped all together getting online.

if your broadband provider has no issues, try to reset the router through the reset button at its back for about 10 seconds. do this with the router disconnected from the computer and power. after that, with the computer turned off, reconnect the router and set it up again if you need specific settings and test the connection. you may also need to try using another cable to connect the router to your modem.

Hello
Signal is either too weak or something is causing it to drop out.You can try a reboot of the router.
If this doesnt work then you may need to get a wireless switch to pick up the signal from the first floor to the second.Which will need to be located in an open area like stairs.Metal decking and flouresent lights can cause the signal to drop.

Or you can buy a cable and hardwire it.Or a stronger router with a better signal.

We have a floor inverter, the timer display and power button keep flashing on the internal unit. Even after we have turned all the power off to it, no luck, Any ideas

Try to disconnect the battery for abot 15 seconds.
Check the battery voltage before and after disconnecting.

If no success after connecting back of a well charged battery, try to find the problem again with this information layed on.

New Ryobi 18v lithium battery goes dead after a couple of seconds. Is there any solution other than returning it?

No, just return it, for the money they should give you one that works. It is common to get a defective Ryobi 18v lithium battery. I've had 2 out of 7 purchased that wouldn't hold a charge. But when you get a good one they work awesome!

If the drill has a short in it, then yes, it could short the battery out. Probably in the trigger switch.

Linksys N router drops signal

Its not dropping you because of the spectrums, it works on line of sight. If you are in a basement and your router is upstairs it has to go thru a floor and the strength is weakened. Go into your router and increase the signal strength. But you have to mod your firmware.

Here is a link to update your firmware.
