I have a motorola rz v3 , i use my phone alot for texting and every time i try to text the whole phone freezes, what do you think the problem is.
Hello,
Much like Windows or a Mac, the Razor's functions are controlled by an Operating System. And, you can run out of memory. More specifically, the OS for your phone can run out of temporary working space when free memory falls near or below 10%.
You have two options, but first export your address book and ring tones using one of your apps.
1.) Delete some entries in your inbox, be they images or songs and do a soft reset of the phone by turning the phone off, removing the battery for a short time. Reinsert the battery, turn the phone on and try texting again see if that works out.
OR
2.) Take your phone to one of your carriers stores and ask them to upgrade your simm chip with one that holds more memory and ask them to do a hard reset after explaining what has been happening.
Either way, probably the second choice will set you right and you'll be better off more storage than you have now. If they test your phone and an error code indicates the problem is fatal they will advise you on your options. Keep in mind, this could be a fatal error and it may and probably is not. There is no easier answer I can give you other than what I've stated in the above.
I know this hasn't fixed your problem, but you are well on your way to having your problem fixed if you take it in if option 1 does not clear it up.
Regards,
