Normal running amp draw for a compressor on a ARB2259CS ?

This info should be listed on the model-serial number tag. It should be listed as "RLA" which stands for Running Load Amperage.

Model ARB2259CS,Everything is freezen in fridge

first check to make sure that your fence in your fridge and freezer are being blocked by packages there are vents that help circulation from one area to the other. it doesn't help when your pants are not locked then it is most likely your thermostat has gone bad and needs to be replaced

If the freezer is not freezing. I am guessing that the refrigerator is not cold also. Here is link to an Amana Refrigerator Not Freezing. You will need to narrow down parts that are working and are not working. I would first pull the refrigerator out to make sure that the compressor and the condenser fan are running(the condencer fan motor runs to cool the compressor down). This is a link to a GE refrigerator condenser fan motor problem. The compressor and condenser fan motor are in the same place. This can give an idea at least where it is at. Make sure that the evaporator fan motor in the freezer is running also. Make sure that the rear freezer wall is not iced over. This can be a defrost problem. See what a defrost problem is HERE. If your unit is sitting there with the lights on but you hear no noise from any fan motor or your compressor. Your unit may be in a defrost mode. Locate your defrost timer. It looks as tho it is either located in the front behind the kick plate or in the back by the compressor. Here is a link to your units diagrams http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Amana-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-SQD23VW-P1315302WW/1268/0165000/P9060266/00011?componentDescription=&brandDescription=&searchTerm= or http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Amana-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-SQD23VWP1315302WW/1268/0165000?searchedModel=sqd23vw&blt=11 . Amana upright deep freeze model AFU1505BW K3: We defrosted it today. Now it won't run and get cold after 5hrs being plugged it. Can't hear motor running. Help!

Hi,
Please check your compressor and capacitor for malfunction. Check also the current draw and compare to your manual. If you got lower ( very low ) current draw reading , you problem with compressor. It may run out of refrigerant and need to top up.Also check your thermostat setting adjust to medium or a little bit colder.

Good day,
Somewhat handicapped not knowing if it's a conventional freezer or frost free.
1. If it's frost free check to see if the fan motor is running in the freezer compartment.
2. As well if it has a fan motor in the compressor compartment, see if it is running as well.

3. If it is a conventional model, make sure it is turned on and make sure it is running. If running, then it has lost it's refrigerant charge or the compressor has lost it's pumping capacity.

4. If it is item 3, then unless it's less then 5 years old, the sealed
system/compressor problem is so pricey that it's not a practical repair. If under 5 years Amana will pay for these repairs, whether it's conventional or frost free.

REFRIG WILL NOT GET ANYTHING COLD

make sure there is no frost buildup behinde the freezer back panal and the ducts to the frig are clear. Leaving the door open will make a lot of frost and diminish the cooling capacity.

Hold the door switch closed like the door is closed for testing an inside fan. The fan could be so quiet you might not hear it. Wet your finger and feel for air movement. Like a Washington politician, you might be able to feel it.

The defrost circuit showing a completed circuit means the heater and safety stat are OK I believe.
I would be more inclined to believe the board its self is at fault if this is correct. Remove one or more of the wires going to the defrost heater and retry it. this way you have an open circuit your sure of and the result you get on the board means this part of the circuit logic is operating correctly.
And the test 2 "Compressor/Condenser Fan Test" is talking about the fan motor on the outside by the compressor not the inside fan. That is the evaporator fan inside.

Other things that may help you:
The defrost timer / or board will never be in the Freezer. Other than that it could be in the refrigerator section behind a plastic cover or metal cover on the back outside. It could also be under neath the front corners or center of the front kick plate.

A timer you can turn the cam clock wise til it clicks. A board will depend on the manufacturer as to how to send into defrost for a test. A sensor on the defrost type board may be required to by-pass into a defrost.

The freezer section has the only cooling coil. It sounds like it is blocked with frost and thus wont let the air circulate from freezer to refrigerator.

There is a defrost timer, (or board), a defrost heater, and a defrost safety thermostat. Any One of these or a combination of 2 can be your problem. If you have a energy efficient model that has electronic controls then you will have a board. The procedures for checking the circuit on a board vary by manufacturer of the board used and manufacturer of the appliance.

The defrost heater always has resistance and is attached to the freezer coil.
The defrost thermostat is also attached to the heater electrically, unless it is an electronic sensor type. Sensor types have a range of resistance that needs to be known to check and varies slightly with the temperature of the sensor.

If I haven't lost you here you maybe equipped with the life experiences that will allow you to do most of these checks. If its over your understanding I recommend you contact a reliable technician.

If this helps you please rate me as high as you can and thank you for using fixya.l
