Hi, Models with analogue/digital programmer feature a "DEMO" function which deactivates the heating elements while leaving the other functions unchanged. To activate it, simply press the bell (minute minder), - and + keys for 3/4 seconds. A confirmation beep will inform the user that the function is active. To deactivate it, simply repeat the same procedure. This worked for Smeg SC399X-6.

Hi, it doesn't as far as the oven is concerned because it is not even in the error code list. But what i instructed you to do earlier worked when the same thing happened to a customer. It is a problem with Smeg Oven.

Oven clock no display and oven wont work any way to bypass clock new world cgk 21556

These things are a pain! When you first power up a lot of New Workd ovens, they come up in AUTO mode and the oven won't work, so you have to take it out of auto mode and stop the clock flashing. I'm giessing that though your clock DISPLAY isn't working, the clock is and the oven think it is.

There are 6 buttons below the clock display. To take it out of AUTO and stop the clock and oven thinking the display is flashing:

Numbering the buttons from left to right as 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (because they have silly symbols!) press the 4th button (a picture of a hand) you will hear a little click and the oven will now work. If you have to power the unit off for more than about a minute at any time, you will need to do this again

Clock keeps flashing i keep setting clock but after 5 minutes or so starts flashing again putting tape over ready time button to hold it down then reset clock seems to work till the tape comes loose Stove...

It looks like the clock is on its way out. I would try two things. First, turn the power off at the main switch, leave it off for a few mins and then turn it back on and see if it makes a difference. You may need to do this a couple of times. Secondly, with the power switched off, repeatedly press all the clock buttons one at a time a number of times - there may be a contact that needs cleaning by operation and then see what happens. if you do need a new clock/timer then ask espares for a quote.

Clock

Hi this is propably too late now but we moved in to our new house six months ago and have a Zanussi ZBF 360 oven, and had no idea how to set the timer / clock. After fiddling around with the oven clock for the last 6 months i managed to set the clock. It shouldn't be much different to the one you have. Hope this helps you and others in the future.

Click the middle button until the little red things on the screen moved round to the clock symbol, then press + or - to get to the correct time, once you have done this it will flash for a few seconds then it will stop flashing and the clock is set. The same goes for the timer to set it when you want to cook something for a period of time eg: ten mins.

As for getting the oven timer to turn it's self on and off I am still messing with it and when i have mastered it I will let people know.
