Question about Dell Optiplex GX280 (99301) Motherboard
You have a number of ways to do this.
There should be a "Service Tag" on the unit. Normally found in the same spot as the serial number, etc. It is usually a combo of 6 letters and numbers.
Go to Dells support site.
You can enter this Service tag (you may have to move around the support site a bit) and you should get info on that particular system. You should be able to download drivers for the sound card from this area.
--- or ---
You can manually enter you model info (Optiplex, Gx280) on the same page "service Tag" page and get to the drivers and downloads section
Here is a link that will jump start you. While the GX280 shown is a mini-tower. You will find a driver for the 915 under the "Video" dropdown.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
