Acer Aspire 3680 bot issues

I have gone through the windows shift+f10 method and restored to factory settings. The monitor on my laptop is broken but I am able to view on external one. I see the restore process start and finish then wants to restart. I then restart and I lose the screen. It gets as far as showing the acer screen then the loading on windows then nothing. I try and boot in safe mode and it says "windows cannot complete installation in safe mode. To continue installing windows restart computer." I have tried everything. Any ideas of what I need to do.

I need to know how to reset my acer aspire 6930 to factory settings!!!!!

A slightly different model requires pressing Alt+F10 at the start up and following the prompts. This will wipe the hard drive though, so back up everything important first. You can probably still get the data even if it doesn't boot Windows.

I need to rest my acer aspire 3680 to the factory sitting

factory recovery
if the computer is booting to windows, then click start and open a folder named as 'acer' listed in ' all programs '.You will find the ' Acer e-recovery managent ' in that folder. You can open it and click allow for the user account controls. Please click 'restore ' for the next screen and the select the first option, 'completely restore to factory defaults '.Follow the on screen instruction to initiate the Recovery.
The Alternate method for starting the Recovery on startup is using the combination of ALT+F10 ( some models its ALTgr ) on startup.Press and Hold down the ALT( Left hand of space ) and at the same time keep on tapping the F10 key till you get the message " Windows is loading files".Just follow the On screen Instructions to start the Recovery.

Restore to factory default

Unlike other laptops, Acer notebook/laptops integrate a computer management utility called 'Acer eRecovery Management' to create backup of hard drive data, create restore point, reinstall applications & drivers, and reset Acer Aspire 4315 to factory setting.

Step 1: Before starting your Acer Aspire 4315 laptop, ensure that there is no external storage device attached to it. Now start your laptop.

Step 2: Press 'Alt + F10' when the laptop starts booting, and wait for a moment while Windows loads the reset files.

Step 3: When 'Acer eRecovery Management' window appears, select 'Restore System from factory default' and click 'Next' to continue.

Step 4: Again click 'Next' to reset your Acer laptop. This process will erase all data from your hard disk and reset your Acer one to original factory settings.

Step 5: Click 'OK' in the notification window to begin the the resetting operation. Now wait while your Acer Aspire 4315 is reset to factory settings.

Tips: You can also create a backup copy of your notebook data before factory reset. Simply click 'Backup' in 'Acer eRecovery Management' window.

Restore back to factory settings

If the computer will boot into windows you can choose this option from the Acer E-Recovery management software.  If it will not then use alt+f10 during the boot.
