ou should also install the Nokia Developer Suite for MMS. It's
downloadable from
http://www.forum.nokia.com/smsforum/main/1,35452,1_2_7_2_1,00.html. After I installed EAIF Emulator, Nokai Series 60 SDK, and Nokia
Developer Suite for MMS on both Win98 & Win2000, I still
couldn't see the MMS box on EPOC. The document of NDS shows that NDS
only works on WinNT & win2000. And Nokia Series 60 SDK doesn't
fully be tested on Win2000. So I installed all of tools to WinNT again,
then it did work. But I still wondered why it wouldn't work on Win98. I
found several folder didn't install to it should be installed on Win98.
Then I tryed to copy all the files under \Symbian of WinNT to the folder
\Symbain of Win98. The result surely was that I could view the MMS on
Nokia EPOC. Hope the experience helps someone.
So you like win98,... Do you have Win98 CD's? Well if your already have it. Put it on your CDROM and reboot your computer. Once the BIOS gets Up, press any Key to Boot CDROM. just read instructions on that Blue Screen.
Actually its just NEXT & NEXT thingy...and Make sure you have some Product Key for win98. Theres a searchable win98 product key out there...
Install first the Win98 OS to your Drive C: and then Install the WinXP to your drive D:
after you restart the system it will prompt you to boot either on Win98 or XP. You can also do this in one hdd only. all you have to do is to repartition the hdd
you can choose which drive you have and it will tell you in the "Support Options" box if a WIN98 driver is available. Unfortunately they only support a few models these days. Hope yours is one of them.
this is compatability problem. You should install your printer on Windows XP system. Then make it share for all. I think it will print from both 98 and XP. try this.......good luck.
if there is a dump of win98 in the drive c of your laptop
the go on command prompt
c:\>cd win98 Enter
c:\win98>setup Enter
and repair the win98 without any loss of data
second install antivirus and update properly the scan al the system
hi wtm78 this is nichu,
it is impossible to install win 98 after installing xp,if you want to install win98 you must remove the winxp and then first install win98 and later you can install winxp,
basically it is impossible to install a lower order software when xp is already installed,in your case it is the same
there will be no things like dual boot or anything ,after booting your system asks whether you want to work with win98 or winxp.
be cool.
