We bought ours at the end of the model year, Aug 2003, so that should make it introduced in 2002. Typically available for 2-2.5K as backsplash says. Not sure about the -1; ours is just CVA610. A couple years later they came out with the automatic foaming feature with a milk reservoir, selling now for similar prices versus the 610 which has a steaming nozzle. It is essential you keep them decalcified, especially if you have hard water.

We bought the dishwasher at the same time, touchtronic G894SC: best dishwasher I've seen or used! A keeper, no problems.

Miele CVA5065 coffee machine has fault 77

I am not familiar with a CVA 5065 - but most of the other Miele coffee systems fault 77 is the ceramic valve initialization or the switch (S51) associated with it.

Miele CVA 610 coffee system says "water system fault" can I fix myself?

Hi I,am not 100% familiar with this model but the machine thinks the is a leak. Remove water tank the should be a hole visible under tank place finger in hole and check for water. If so remove water with syringe etc. Leak most likely cause tank incorrectly fitted or faulty seal on tank. If water tank seal OK, Remove water with syringe etc appliance will work. As a precaution remove lid and run you should be able to see any leaks. If not look for white stains on components. If no leaks or stains found it's was most likely tank incorrectly fitted.

Steamer backed up water pours out under machine

On the cva 610 and 615 the steamer valve gasket tends to wear. Causing the unit to leak. Your best bet it to remove the steamer valve, Looking at the knob stem there is a plastic pin you can press to remove the stem from the valve. Once removed there's a small o-ring on the stem. ( That's where it's leaking from ) replace the o-ring and the stem to be safe. Also take a look at the micro sw to make sure it doen't have any corrosion if so replace it. If not your on the road to recovery. Good luck
