Question about Haier 65-Pint Dehumidifier
We bought a brand new Haier dehumidifier yesterday, took it to the basement, turned it on and tonight the bucket is empty! Not a single drop of water to be seen. There should be some moisture present.
On my third unit.
First unit worked well (but loud) died in 5 weeks, replacement (14.99 to ship) was DOA, third unit appears to be working. Horrible bucket design, it's impossible to remove and carry when full without spilling. Float level is set too high, no adjustment..
Would not recommend.

I just bought one also, and noticed the following:Both units I tried iced up at any temp below 70 degrees! The box states that it will run with temps down to 41 degrees, and the manual states that it might ice up at any temp below 60 degrees. Try putting the unit on a table or as close to the ceiling as you can where the temp is higher. (Heat rises) This allowed my unit to run normally.Another thing I noticed about this unit is that it turns off when the set humdity is reached, then as the humidity rises the unit cycles on and off numerous times until it finally stays on. Luckily, it is only the fan cycling, and not the compressor. Also, the second unit I tried vibrates (buzzes) quite loudly, whereas the first unit did not make any noise. So far, I am not very impressed with this unit, and I will probably take it back to BJ's where I bought it. Hope this helps

I have the same problem. I have had the unit less than a month. Haier's policy is for me to pay $14.99 so they can send me another one. What a huge ripoff.
