Hi My RH4820W is playing up on me. It just went dead. I tested at the fuse for power, yes there was. The cooler fan is coming on now and then and the D101 light ( not sure what it is) is flashing continously and normally. Do you think there is any reason for this? PLEASE GIVE ME ANY ANSWER

.It is possible that the unit was hit by a small power surge, and the processor has some garbage in it, and you need to leave it unplug from the wall for 40 MIN, and that will reset back to normal.

I have 96 isuzu trooper3.2l v6 stick shift all power is good but when i stick key in switch and turn it no sound at all what could that be

electrical power you meant is seems good.
engine power zero.
starter dead.
this is no crank, ill post again,. for this, done so many times.

i use this thing called a voltmeter and avoid this jiggery pokery below...... time is money.

1: fuses good.battery terms clean? (all fuses, if you lack the FSM to see which ones are IN PLAY.)
2: battery charged to 12.6vdc reseted?
3: jumper cable cranking work now>? off a running donor car?
yes, the battery was dead, or weak, or discharged, test battery, test cars charging system and last make sure no drain on battery parked keys out of car..
4: NO, jump fails.
check or bypass clutch switch?
this cranks ok, (bad clutch switch at its pedal.)
if still dead it can be bad key switch or bad starter relay.
lets see if it has the relay. ,alldata.com says yes.

so does the starter relay close, cranking?
if not fix cause that first.
it needs fuses working
it needs power to the relay contactor input
power to the coil
and the coil enabling factor the clutch depressed and its switch must be closed.
and if the antithieft box, (factory option) is unhappy
the start relay coil will be dead.
start at the relay ,
does the (turned on) dash heater fan cut off, cranked
yes, then relay is closing
no, its not. find reason.
easy with a volt meter the 4 pins on relay.
pins 3,4,5,6
12v, 12v, 0v and 12v respectively.
if the pin 5 never goes to 0v, the immoblizer is unhappy.
sorry so small, Fixya shinks it to useless....

The unit is completely dead. no lights and no fan. Both fuses on the board are good.

If it is dead, and doing nothing at all, have you checked to make sure its not a power failure to the unit? Sounds to me that may be a problem if all is dead. You probably checked this first, but make sure. I repair wine coolers, walk-in boxes on a day to day basis, and if you have no lights or fan, and nothing at all is coming on, it is either a power failure coming in or the power cord its self has come loose to the control section. That's all it could be, you have lost power. Check for power at the board if you have power to the outlet. The reason I believe you have no power to the unit is you say the light and the fan are off, and nothing is working. Please check and let me know.

Microwave has no power the powe sourse works

Hi, your microwave can be dead for many reasons.

It may be the fuse, which is usually located on the floor of the oven behind the control panel or between the door switches.

If the fuse is good, it may be an open thermostat or thermal cutout (TCO)/ thermal fuse on or near the magnetron or on top of the cavity / bodyof the oven.

If it goes dead for a while during or after cookingthen comes back on, the magnetron is probably overheating and causingthe magnetron thermostat to open.

Then when it cools, it closes the circuit and allows power through again.

When checking thermostats, if it has a hood fan thermostat, that should readopen, as opposed to the others, which should read closed.

If it went dead almost immediately after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a shorted high-voltage capacitor.

If it went dead a few seconds after pressing the Start pad, that's usually a failing high-voltage transformer.

Ifit goes dead or blows the breaker (or GFI) when you plug it in or open or closethe door, then there's a problem with a door switch or door switchmount.

If it's intermittent or random, it may be a badconnection, usually on the control board or a loose fuse holder, oreven an intermittent fuse.

You should do a continuity test onthe fuse while it's in the holder (with the microwave unplugged, ofcourse) then turn the fuse by hand or take it out and put it back in,then test it again.

If you remove the fuse, then press the meterleads against the ends, it can allow internal contact to be made andmake a bad fuse appear to be good.

The whole thing went dead, even the digital tempurature display.

Since everything went out, I would first test the outlet. Get a lamp and plug it in to see if the outlet is still active. Take the appropriate action if there is no power (check circuit breakers)
(p.s. Circuit breaker ONLY TRIP when you exceed the current load for that breaker)

If the out let is good (the light turns on) then:
Based on the reading of the owners manual, I did not notice any incident or mention of a fuse or power protection. Due to the sensitivity of wines , I am nearly positive this is an omission in the manual.
If you can get to the back of the unit, look around the power cord area to see it there is a fuse port. If there is a rocker switch to turn it on, the fuse may be in the switch.
this is your manual:

Hope that helps

My Haier 12 wine bottle cooler is dead. No fan or cooling .

Check the 2 fuses, one covered with black heat shrink, next see if internal fan is spinning, inside door, the 2 fans on the back should spin when first plugged in. also the 2 led's red and green should light up...if internal fan doesn't spin then check or replace, use batteries to get it to spin as a test...good luck, safety first...

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

Yes, there will be a fuse and also on or above the magnetron, there will be a thermal cutout or thermostat, and one on the top of the cavity.

But here is our long answer on a dead microwave:
