What model and make is it. I don't think it is going to be your drier though.

Fg has had an issue with improperly install driers from the factory but if you have had this done already you should not have that probelm again. fg and maytag have had compressor issues on models built between 2002 to 2006. these are call sealed sys repair and only a certified tech can perform these duties. refer to you users care guide for warranty if they still apply, according to your date of purchase

Do you have an automatic ice maker/dispenser? If yes check and/or replace same, and also checkfor broken pipes. you may have to slide out fridge to do so....be careful as piping or wiring my also be tangled. look for leaks.Repair as may be necessary. You might also take offthe filter,be sure water is shut off, inject food coloring into the water line, reconnect everything and partially open water and look for colored water which should lead to the leak.
No icemaker? orven as last resort with icemaker, check for hidden built up frost, sometimes a tricky deal and/or turn off fridge completely and let it come to room temp (defrost the whole thing) and see what happens. A collection of new water will inticate that it was over frosted. Probably from too many door openings and closings. Be prepared with cleanup sponges and such! Note: store food properly while defrosting!

Fridge not cooling. Shifted house 2 days back. Before it was alright.

Your fridge systems under chocked. Whenever transport refrigerant unit you should not lift down wards on suction side which will lead compressor oil thr' discharge line. When compressor on, it will pump the oil.It get chocked on filter drier resulting to no cool.

Solution. Remove all gas, and also filter drier. Now flush out condenser side separate and evaporator side separately. Then replace filter drier and vacuum the system. Now do gas charging. Thanks. helpful?

Possible leak in the sealed system. Make sure the technician pressurizes the system with nitrogen, changes drier, evacuates to 500 microns, then weighs in the correct charge.

Why doesn't my fridge cool?

while I agree with your technician that there may be a blockage in the coil or more likely the capillary tube but turning it off and on will not fix it. to fix this correctly the evpaporator, heat exchanger, compressor and filter drier need to be replaced as well as the condenser and mullion loop need to be flushed.
when the defrost heater failed and the refrigerant escaped the unit pulled moisture into the system causing this blockage and it will cause a lot of other troubles such as acid build up in the system if not repaired properly.
I know this is not what you wanted to hear because this will be very expensive to repair. If I can be of further assistance please ask thanks Peyton
